What a lovely pub and staff are so friendly and helpful. Its the first time I have visited Turnchapel and thought I would pop in for a bite to eat and meet a friend. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, even my dog got made welcome and had a little treat. It was all very well laid out and lots of different areas you can sit. The food was amazing! Well done guys, you are doung a great job! Would highly recommend you and will be out to see you again. ☺

Great little pub. Has been refurbished to a high standard, but unlike lots of other pubs, it has kept its own identity and original features. Beer, real ale, always very good and well kept. Only had a pub lunch snack which I was very happy with. What food I have seen ordered by others looks fine. It's on the South West coastal path and dogs are very welcome. My dog always gets a treat and is also very pleased to visit. Well worth a visit.

A great pub for nice quiet drink, a great range of ales that I couldn't do in one sitting. This is my local and I love it. The customer service is amazing. This place is dog and cat friendly, as an animal lover I'm in my element. The food is brilliant here, I recommend the cheesy chips / curries / hunter's chicken. Animals, Alcohol and Good Food. What else do you need from a good pub!

Although I haven't spent a night in the Bori for 20 years, I know this place is a lovely and cheap place to stay. Other than that The Boringdon Arms (Bori) is an amazing pub. Welcoming with a very good selection of food and drink. It's why it was a local pub I visited often throughout my life. I haven't been often in the last 7 years as I've moved to a different place in Plymouth, but this pub has always has a special place for me. A lot of good people and locals come here. Great atmosphere and fun especially at the weekend. There has been a few land lords and land ladies over the years. And it's always kept it's charm. The current owners are old regulars who have put a lot of effort into keeping this pubs charm going. Lovely beer garden at the back and seating at the front in a lovely community area. Turnchapel village has a very local community sprit and is full of friendly faces that visit this pub. Highly...

We enjoyed a lovely roast here, late one Sunday afternoon about 3pm. The meat was a smaller portion, and that could have been due to the time we arrived for food. This mattered more to my husband. However, I was delighted with the eleventy million types of veg and quantity. Cauliflower cheese, carrots, squashed swede, cabbage, broccoli, and at least one other, I've forgotten. We ordered Yorkshire with a chicken roast, which was forgotten by the kitchen and us as I was busy eating, so there was no terrible loss. I'd definitely go back. The service was great, they came to check we were happy, food was piping hot and delicious. We ate in the garden, which had the woods to the back, birds singing and sun shining in. A garden swing was perfect to enjoy after our 7-mile walk, with a gin, of course. I would love to try their other food but will surely have...

Went walkabout. Took ferry taxi from barbican to mount button. Started the coastal walk. Met lovely couple who told us about the Boringdon in Turnchaple. Bob had a refreshing beer, my sister a J20 and lemonade, and me?....my usual glass of pinot grigio. Mm...mm.... Bob had steak and Jail pie, my sister, fish cakes, ( there was three varieties) with hand cut chips and I had a fabulous ham, cheese, and pate ploughman's with hot bread. Gorgeous. The man who served us at the pub was so friendly and helpful, the pub looked lovely. We'll done the Boringdons. We...
