Usually it's a wonderful environment where everyone feels like friends from as soon as you walk in. However, it has had new a implementation of management who seem to deem it fit to judge your memory as soon as you order a drink. Having only arrived with a glass of wine in my system, and being extremely crouded as well as having suffered a stroke last year, the manager seemed to believe I was too drunk to order something on the basis that I asked for 'a cocktail', the name of which the bar staff had told me a few minutes before. She refused to serve me or my friends for the rest of the night on these grounds ALONE. I understand that every hospitality manager has a duty of care to both staff, customers and business alike but this was a bit too far and made the experience extremely awkward for myself...

Drink prices are odd, 3.50ish for a spirit and mixer but 5.50 for a pint of HEINEKEN?? Outrageous pricing! With that being said the beer and spirt selection is very good.
Sort of disappointed at the decision to get rid of the jukebox, but they do still play the same sort of music the locals would put on so no complaints there!
Get the downstairs open, maybe even get the odd band back in there and this place...
