Customer service is down the pan. Manager with the beard walking around chatting to his mates instead of working. Young boy who was our waiter was running around doing all the work but too busy to serve us. Don't really blame the boy though, it's the management. We waited for ages for the food to come and when it did, the starters were missing. I finished my meal and still no starters. Was assured that they were coming. Waited 20 min, still no starters. Had to call the boy only for him to tell me that the order did not go through due to some magical technical error. Don't know why he waited for me to flag him down before telling me the order did not go through. Gave me the option of ordering it again or getting taken off the bill, I ordered again. Waited for more than 30 min before angrily taking off. On the way out I asked the boy whatever happened to my starters and he told me that he put the order through to the kitchen but it they didn't make it.i don't understand why I had to ask him for an update after 30 min, twice. He actually said to me that he was very busy and couldn't chase it up, I don't think that's something you should be telling a customer. If I can't ask the waiter where my food is who can I ask? Anyway, on the way out my wife spoke to the bearded manager who said he would speak to whoever it was that caused our delay but didn't give us a discount. So after wasting our time, we left feeling hungry and it was clear to me that our time meant nothing to them. Well some honest bad reviews should mean something hopefully. We came here based on good reviews. A reveiw of the food we did get a chance to eat: I got the premium burger and it was tiny and good in taste at best. Chips were good, small portion though. Yes, you saw correctly - I am giving this place 1 stars. I visited the restaurant on Monday 10th Aug. So it was one of the days the Eat out to help out scheme was running.

We queued outside for 1 hour 15 mins, which was understandable given that the 50% off scheme was running.

Whilst queuing saw 3 groups go in front of us as apparently they had reservations. Why they are taking reservations on a weekday whilst the scheme is running- I don't know.

We were then seated at our table and ordered out food immediately. Upon ordering we asked how long the food would take to arrive and were told it would be half an hour.

We had with us a 2 year old child - so we asked if we could get the garlic bread before the food as we didn't mind waiting and the child was hungry.

We were told by the manager that this would not be possible as all the food arrived together.

So we waited, half an hour... then 45 mins, then 1hr then 1hr 15 later the food finally arrived!

When it did arrive we immediately noticed the garlic bread was missing, a point which was brought up, to which the server didn't show much interest and did not return.

We then asked a 2nd person, whose attitude was much the same. Lastly we asked the so called manager who said he'd check but also never came back. 2 year is still hungry

The garlic bread did inally arrive ONCE we had finished our food and got up to pay.

Spoke again to the so called manager but nothing but robotic apologies and as a consolation tried to tell us he wouldn't charge us for the garlic bread!!!

You've lost a customer for life, the least you could have done was waive the £20 bill.

I will tell everyone I know and post on every review site to avoid this place...

The food is fresh and tasty and adequate sizing however it is really nothing special to pay £10.20 for a chicken burger , chips , and a coke ... The chips are lovely with the dip which is a plus however the burger was just nothing special and not added much sauce on either. I think the worst that ruins this place atmosphere is the lethargic and lazy staff...the staff didn't look much bothered or welcome from the start seemed like they didn't really work there tbh. A guy took my order once sat down and he obviously knew what drinks we wanted and so whilst awaiting for the drinks , since him and the other two collegue males were standing, chatting and pretty much chilling , surely they could have brought us the drinks whilst awaiting for my order. It seemed like the girl working there had all the responbiblies of the job on her and she brought us the food and then asked whether we got our drinks yet which then she brought to us as the lads were chilling and not bothering at all. When going to the till to pay, the cooks were busy and the girl that was doing pretty much everything was packing the order so I waited to pay for mine for a while , and there was a small qué accumulating behind me and yet the three lads were just in the drinks section talking and chilling ... Where is the team work and just doing your job ? The girl had to stop packing orders eventually and take our bill. With this atmosphere I don't feel like coming back and especially the price when in fact it is...
