Thai Royal — Restaurant in Preston

Review about restaurant Thai Royal On 4th I ordered combo meal £25, in instructions I noted to not add anything spicy in my dish instead swap it to something else if possible. The food arrived with hot chilli and I cant eat hot chilli. Ive been ringing them FOR WEEK to sort this issue out with them, they offered me 10% off next order. I said I want full refund also because I am not going to order from them again. Long story short-i just called them again (after they didnt get back to me yesterday as promised), i suppose it was restaurant owner who said that because I have actually eaten food she cant refund, I said I did not eat it, because it was overloaded with chilli! She started to shout at me that she immediately wants to see me at restaurant IN 20 MINUTES TIME and that I am eating her food and asking refund and that I am calling her every day and that she is going to put me in trouble if I dont stop calling. :-o P.s. i have saved my reciepe and my instructions that i left, i took pictures of food as a prove that is was full with chili, also shreenshot to prove that i called them as soon as I revieced food, since they didnt pick up phone i left 1.17 min long voice message with my issue and details and kindly asked to get back to me asap which they didnt.

Absolutely shocking...

Terrible service. Tonight, we asked for to change the seafood noodles to beef noodles because the seafood tasted funny (little bit stink). When we asked if we can change the order, no one says anything. However, while we are having food, the owner suddenly came my table and started yelling at me and my friends. She forced us to pay for the seafood noodles. We were trying to explain to her we changed order because of the stinky seafood. But she refused to communicate. She didn’t even listen to us at all and just yelling.

I understand she may have lots of pressure. If she can talk to me nicely, I’m happy to pay for it. But her attitude was very unacceptable .

Eventually I still paid because I don’t have time for drama - I should not pay though. I have been a very loyal customer for this place many years and bought lots of my friends here. But i won’t come anymore. It’s shame I used...

Very unsanitary and unhygienic. No gloves were worn by any of the staff. Food fell on the floor in the kitchen and the chef got the brush and dust pan to clean. He didn’t wash his hands and continued to make the food. The kitchen was overcrowded with boxes and junk lying around near till. The serving staff were quite awkward and not easy to talk to. We ordered 2 mixed pad Thai. Stingy portions and just not worth the price! The beef was chewy and inedible. Hardly any prawns and chicken included. We also ordered bubble teas. The tapioca pearls were not fresh and had been microwaved. Utensils used were not clean. Took around 20 minutes for 2 bubble teas as staff were all over the place. First time going and personally would not recommend 👎🏼There are much better places with good customer...
