The Burger Hut — Restaurant in Preston

I would recommend this place over and over. I have been to the shop many times in the past 2 weeks. Yes I agree with some of the other reviews that at busy times there is a wait which I can understand because they prepare fresh food as and when ordered. I don't agree with Mr MoMo about the young lad at the counter. I have seen him try very hard as he seems to be learning the job he has which is very nice of the owners to give a youngster the opportunity to better his skills and empowering him to provide a good service and achieve his full potential. I visited again today after the England game and they just started to get busy all of a sudden but they handled it well. I was served and got my food in 10-15 minutes took it home and was delicious as always has been!!! The guys are genuine at the shop and very friendly and polite and apologetic if anything is even slightly wrong. You've got to give them credit where it's due and although the weekends may be busier than normal days I would definitely wait for the food of such quality and them prices. Once again the guys are very helpful I'm sure if you speak to them you will find out for yourself. I've till today always had a great experience and nor are they perfect because everyone makes mistakes. Dear owner I would take the negative comments as constructive and you will always get haters trying to put down the great job you're doing!!! Keep up the good work and we will keep supporting you. Staff are disgustingly rude, salad and sauce is guaranteed not how you ordered it. Sometimes the food is cold. I have been there many times over the past few years, the food is ok, but the people running it couldn't give a toss. Tables are always dirty My mate had a hair in the burger once, told the staff to get another burger, he took it downstairs to the manager, we could hear the manager shouting loudly saying he's doing this for a refund, all we wanted was another burger (preferably without fried hair!). Son called them the other night to confirm they are closing at 11. We got there at 10.15 to be told they don't have any chicken left, they had shut the pizza oven off, no wings! Still ordered some burgers and chips and rice box an large chips (rice tasted like plastic). We got the food and then got told we couldn't eat inside as they wanted to close the shop early, after much aggravation they let us eat in. Opened the food and realised there was no large chips, had to go down an ask for them! What if we had taken the food home! All staff are miserable/rude and there is no cleanliness about this place. This place could be so much better as the food when it's done right is quite nice. I personally would not go back but I have to as this is the only place my son eats from in Preston! Would give zero stars if possible!!!Ordered some wings along with some burgers, 2 hours and still not ready. No apologies and no customer service skills. They were just being rude. Eventually food was ready but everything was cold, the wings had been reheated so many times that they became like bullets. Chewy and dry and couldn’t eat at all. The burger was nice even though it was cold and the chicken on it was practically like cardboard thin and you couldn’t even taste it. Rang up and still no apology but they offered to do the food again next time (like I was gonna go back) and asked for money back as had to throw mist the food away. They have a no refund policy apparently. Worst place and worst service ever. Don’t understand why you would want to go back to this place for.

Happened about 2 months ago but forgot to put review on till now. Your policy is not to refund and I’m definitely not coming back to try your food again. Your prices have gone up but...
