McDonald's — Restaurant in Rawcliffe

McDonald's nowadays are nothing special over priced low quality/poor presentation. The self service and apparently new streamline setup instead of making things quicker seems to take twice as long.

Even though I always have a special burger and it's all wrote on a label for the box they still get it wrong 9 out of 10 times so always check your burger/order to make sure its correct.

They are been paid a half decent wage for what they do so a little pride and respect towards their customers wouldn't go a miss, burger always looks like a dogs dinner.

If I'd be able to say well it's a cheap meal what do you expect but when a meal today costs £10+ for a single large meal with a milkshake I expect to get a little quality and a hot burger.

All in all there are better options out there and you can't use price/value for money as an excuse as they are no longer that.

Just so McDonald's might read this when you take milk product specially we shouldn't be paying vat on it, You charge us more for...

1st time here staff were rude and arguing with each other. Gave them the benefit of the doubt as everyone had bad days, visited again paid £1.80 extra for a specific drink on the meal, order number was duplicated on the screen so when my number was called and there was no drink I assumed it was the other order with the same number. Eventually number was said again so i went and told them that it's my number but I don't think it's mine as there's no drink. Girl said they had "run out" so I couldn't have a drink. After explaining to her several times that I have paid for a meal which includes a drink and paid a surcharge for a drink I was infact entitled to a drink. Eventually she went to get a more senior staff member. Basic training needed that if an item is out of stock to tell the customer before the rest of the order is ready rather than thinking its OK to take their money and not give any indication. Wonder how many people go though the drive through and find...

Right where to begin..

Former mcdonalds employee from 2 different parts of yorkshire.

Crew members confused over basic order taking procedures and listening skills, many mistakes made such as not giving the relevant discount correctly until WE told them what to do, interrupting us without eye contact etc..

Food. Fast and warm. However very sloppily put together many fries in the bottom of the C bag, some fries within the fry holders mushed in, no medium holders only large (we found this on 2 seperate occasions here). Burgers covered in messy sauce and cheese.

This all points to one simple problem..lazy management. Staff are undertrained and supplies are not regularly stocked and ordered in when needed.

If you have the choice choose a different mcdonalds location but if you are patient, willing to double check things incase staff make mistakes (without just screaming at them like a baby) and food presentation isnt a concern then this mcdonalds is...
