Fat Twins is a burger joint that truly stands out in our town's culinary landscape. From the moment you sink your teeth into one of their delicious burgers, you know you've stumbled upon something special. What sets Fat Twins apart is not only the mouthwatering taste of their burgers but also their commitment to serving halal options, catering to a wider audience. For the past two months, Fat Twins has been my go-to spot for burgers, and I haven't looked back since. The Chipotle Smash burger, in particular, is a masterpiece of flavors that leaves me craving more with each bite. And let's not forget about their fries – crispy, golden, and the perfect accompaniment to any burger order. But it's not just about the food; it's the whole experience. Fat Twins takes pride in their service, ensuring that every delivery arrives warm and with the name of your burger clearly labeled on top. It's this attention to detail and professionalism that sets them apart from the rest.I've never been one to write reviews, but Fat Twins has impressed me so much that I had to share my experience. They deserve more than five stars for their dedication to quality, taste, and customer satisfaction. If you're in the mood for a burger that's not only delicious but also prepared with care and attention, look no further than Fat Twins. Read moreFat Twins in Reading is a halal attempt at McDonalds/Burger King, its not as good but it’s an ‘ok’ attempt. The smash burgers are pretty good but pale in comparison to their neighbours ‘Smash N Grab’ (best smash burger in town, end of)! However, whilst the neighbour is only open half the time, Fat Twins is a good ‘second place’ to get a smash burger. Chips could be better, they are a bit soft and limp rather than crispy on the outside, chicken nuggets and onion rings were not great I won’t order them again. The Smash burger has decent flavour and their burger sauce is pretty good. However, my last experience was very disappointing, I ordered for delivery and a whole meal and 3 fries & drinks from other meals were missing (basically a whole bag was left behind), and if that wasn’t embarrassing enough when ordering for family visiting, the smash burgers arrived squashed/flat. The reason for this is that they do not put the smash burgers in boxes but instead wrap them in foil and then in their infinite wisdom will place them at the bottom of the bag and place everything else on top of them – low and behold you receive burgers and per the image attached, your smash burger arrives, smashed!!! So whilst I’m happy to dine in for a smash burger only (if Smash n Grab are closed that is) I will never order for delivery again until they sort this...
Read moreI'm really taken back by the good food reviews for this place. Quite unbelievable really. These customers must have a really low standards for food or just be very young and impressionable. I have to say that Cemetery Junction isn't great for variety at all. When all the burger joints are going at it it smells like an onion factory. Proper nasty, like an old sweaty man. 😅🤣 I'd say if they remade the documentary "super size me" and used fat twins as the example then it would be game over. It's definitely the lowest grade meat as your gut will tell you for atleast 2 days after. It does taste nice but that's only because they cover it all with so much salt. I do not know why people would eat here if you have taste when there's smash burgers right next door and roosters across the road. If it's down to cost then roosters are better priced and it's lovely. Smash burgers are amazing but aren't open as often. Atleast the staff have changed at fat twins. That's why I've given them 2 stars in total as the last lot were like grumpy 12 Yr olds who had no understanding of how to serve people . Not my best review really!!! I went twice and...
