TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL!!!!!!!!
AT 6:45 (ish) in the morning when to get a couple of sandwiches and left by bicycle inside the empty shop as I forgotten my padlock keys at home, outside was two individuals talking less then trustworthy of leaving my £1500 bike unlocked at anyone’s mercy. The shift leader Nisamma was warned by a colleague of hers who was off duty at the time that a bike was in the corridor, I said it was mine and that I left it there as I did not have means to leave it locked outside, The restaurant was completely empty with one or two customers and no queue whatsoever . Nisamma then told me its company policy not to have bikes in the shop which is understandable, however under the circumstances it was not disturbing anyone or blocking any exits. I asked her to serve me and I would be on my way, she responded that she would not serve me until I remove the bike and that it is my responsibility to lock the bike. I left between having the danger of my bike being stolen or leave without breakfast or any other means of a decent meal until lunch break which is after 1pm. The choice was clear. Now to resume my concern: How is it that a shift leader implements company policy and chooses not to understand a costumer's needs? How is it that staff hide under policy rules and decide that being rude to customers and making them fell as if they are some sort of a criminal is ok? Nisamma and her colleage can only be described as disrespectful, incompetent and simply rude. Their lack of understanding and plain inability to feel any compassion for others needs is a statement of of their inability to manage a restaurant successfully or any other business. I am left now with an empty stomach until 1pm because two individuals feel happy that they...
Read moreThe published opening times for this branch are the same, every day of the week, both on the door and on McDonalds’ website. Open to midnight it says. They never stay open to midnight, not even on Fridays and Saturdays.
Having walked there and arrive d hungry one Friday evening at 23:05, the doors were locked and the staff were cleaning up. They said they were closed.
Another time we were eating in there at 21:30 and they closed the section of the restaurant we were seated in and asked us to move before we had finished so that they could clean. I knew what they were doing and I asked what time they closed and the woman cleaning said 22:30. This was a Saturday and the place was full of people picking up orders. Unbelievable! I then went to the counter and asked the server what time they closed and she told me 22:30 but the drive-thru stays open until 01:00. It certainly does not.
DO NOT expect late night food from this restaurant. They’re never open after 23:00. So annoying! If you’re so lazy to close early every single night, just change your published...
Read moreLast evening me and my sister in law and her kid (age of 3) visited the place. As usually we ordered some food and we went on two metres distance to wait the order, as the reastriction says. I just wanna notice that outside was raining and windy, so our plan was to take the food and go home as fast as we can and eat the food there. Then a woman of the stuff (seemed as Indian or Pakistani, doesn’t really matter) came to us and said it was going to be good if we go outside under the rain to wait for our order. There was another 4-5 people there, she did not ask none of them, she decided to ask us for any reason. Then I said that we are with the kid and I don’t think is nice to ask us to go out. Then she said that at least one of us needs to go out. It was a non-existing rule, which was not for everyone, but for some chosen by stuff people. I felt horrible. And shamed. All of the people around us were looking at us as we been some criminals. I will never visit...
