Courtyard Cafe — Restaurant in Rother

Replying to the previous response from the owner: I did not notice the smell in my hair and on my clothes until I got home, hence why I didn't say anything when I was in the cafe. The smell does not bother my partner hence why he hasn't complained. But it really does bother me. You say that it is impossible for the smell to travel and get stuck to people, implying that I'm lying, yet every single time he eats there he comes home smelling of a deep fat fryer and he doesn't eat anywhere else after, nor is he around any oil. I'm not trying to offend anyone. Just asking if there could be some kind of ventilation at the front where people sit. You also came across as quite rude in your response which was unfair. First visit to this cafe... Menu looked yummy, friendly greeting, and the breakfasts we had were great. The table was sticky with sugar spilled on it, had not been properly wiped over, a jug of milk obviously from yesterday by the skin on the top! Was also amongst the condiments. Always a wonderful friendly welcome, Elle remembers the drink I have and within minutes I have, the food Ian cooks is excellent always freshly cooked.
