So disappointed, my husband had the gammon which was inedible, the landlord asked us if everything ok and I said NO the gammon is gristly and under cooked, his response was, next time ask for it well done, as if we would order it again!! Interesting to see that Luke Saunders did a review two months ago about the Gammon being all gristle, and his feedback was it’s unusual for it to be like that and they would keep an eye on it, the worst thing for me was that I did bring it to the landlord’s attention and nothing was done, not even an offer of doing another gammon steak! Shame because it’s a nice pub with a nice garden, but very put off eating there...

Food - The food choices here are typical for a pub, it's slightly pricey but the quality is really nice so can't complain. The burgers are especially delicious! If you eat at lunchtime, you practically have the place to yourself, so nice and quiet and of course priority service because of that.
Interior - A little dated, "traditional" if you will. Some like it, some don't. I don't mind at all either way, although some of the furniture is a little tired looking.
