I have visited this lovely little cafe a few times with both vegan and non-vegan friends and we have always been very satisfied. I absolutely love the concept - it has everything you could possibly want (coffee, cake, breakfast, lunch, sandwiches you'll be raving about for weeks!) and it's all cruelty-free. In a day we are becoming more conscious of the climate it's really lovely to be able to support a place like this, and it's great to realise you don't have to miss out on anything when you swap out the animal products. I think everyone should visit this little cafe and give it a try, it soon becomes a favourite! Dog friendly as well, and if you've left your own dog at home they have a resident dog snoozing on the sofa you can pet :) Great service from the sisters who run it, and I'm glad it's one of our Ladybay businesses that seems to have staying power (for very good reason!). Read moreFirst time for my wife and I eating here. In fact, it's the first time eating vegan food anywhere, being confirmed omnivores. So, were absolutely delighted with the taste of the food and the quality as well. Had a latte with soya milk for the first time, couldn't tell the difference from milk. Lovely and creamy coffee. Had a vegan bacon and sausage cob, delicious. And the cakes were divine. Didn't miss having meat or dairy at all. Prices were very reasonable, and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful and friendly, as well as being fine artists who sell a range of hand drawn items that are one-offs and really cool. Also, a dog loving, welcoming cafe with their own resident gorgeous pooch in situ who was a diamond. All in all, it was a very pleasurable experience, and although the first visit will definitely be going back and will definitely be eating more vegan...
Read moreI've wanted to visit bread and butterflies for a while after hearing lovely things about it but we live just over a half an hour drive away. Today was the day however and it was worth the trip! We had the brunch, the flavours were fantastic and the serving very generous. The tofu scramble was the best I've ever had and I've had a lot. The cake was out of this world, we had a slice of the chocolate tiffin and a slice of the raspberry, yogurt and coconut. Both were so delicious and big slices too! The cafe itself is very cute, clean and whilst not huge, quite spacious. The owner was so welcoming and friendly and the service was prompt. The prices are extremely reasonable I was pleasantly surprised when I came to pay. I wish we lived closer (or they opened another cafe in Long Eaton 🙏🏻) as we'd be regulars. We'll definitely make...
