11 Central — Restaurant in Salford

Picture this: It's a rainy, blistery cold Tuesday in Manchester.

I've been sat in Central 11 for a few hours this afternoon, quietly vibing to an incredible soundtrack, as i work.

The staff are so pleasant.

It's the little details that matter.

I was immediately greeted with a friendly smile, and shown to seats where i could be 'plugged in'.

They set up a tab, so i could order without distraction.

Coffee with a bottle of tap water; it felt like that extra touch that shows they're completely in tune to their customers. No concern about spend or space, they wanted to be comfortable, and spend as much time as i needed.

Little things that show a care and attention, often lacking in so many places.

I think i may have found my new daytime venue.

Hell, i think i might have found my all day, every day venue.

Might have to come back to the Cafe soul collective live music this Thursday.

P.s the flat iron steak, and fries were a dream.

*sad to update this but I came to 11Central on Bank holiday Monday and on all of their screens they were advertising happy hour Monday to Thursday. When I asked for the deal they refused as it was a bank holiday. I asked to speak to the manager and explained that no where on their signage or their insta did it state that a bank holiday Monday would be excluded from the deal and therefore they should honour their advertising. They refused and stopped the screens from showing the add. About 15 minutes later, their screens started showing the add again but they still wouldn’t honour the deal. Disappointed in 11central left before we normally would have. Do better 11central.

Just had the most wonderful experience at the Gin School (Gin Making session) - Emma led the session & was warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable on the history of the company as well as gin itself - giving tid-bits of information throughout the whole experience to really make it amazing. When it came to actually making our gins, she helped us fine tune our choices and recipes to make sure we had the best results - we can't wait to try them (and find out what our birthday surprise is)!

After the gin making, dinner at the restaurant was also great - handy that you can order from the bar or the restaurant menu. Our servers (Isabelle & another lovely woman) were really friendly & chatty, with some great menu recommendations.
