I had a beer here on the 19th of July, the weather was hot outside, so I plucked up enought courage to leave my home, I have crippling anxiety and PTSD, so find it very difficult to leave my home. When I went to the bar, I asked the bar man what the beer was like, he said it was a holsted beer, I asked him was like a budwiser or a carling, he said he did not know, and he was the manager Steve. I then noticed it was quite, which then he said, yeh, its 3pm on a Tuesday. This comment made me feel like I was a looser for having a beer at that time. He was very abrupt. Read moreHad a nice bottle of decent wine. Nice decor and lighting. Lots of dark wood and nice pictures. A bit like a long, slim lobby of a small boutique hotel. A Thursday night and was not too busy - for me that’s perfect. Only stools no chairs. Not conducive when you want people to stay. Disinterested bar man, polite enough but glued to his laptop when not serving, looked bored as hell. Mixed clientele - a group of men shouting and swearing.
