The Coffee House & Kitchen — Restaurant in Salford

A lovely little coffee shop. There is some outside seating too! Called in on the 'off chance ' that there might be a table for two, available? On entering there was a sign that asked us to ' wait to be seated ' . Within seconds a cheerful and friendly staff member, welcomed us into the Coffee shop. She asked for how many people ( two) and showed us to a table. Menus offered and my husband asked if the Breakfast was still available? It was! Apparently, anything on the Menu is available ALL Day 😀. The friendly Staff member returned to the table, apologising for the wait ( 5 minutes? ) and then took our order! We ordered the 'Bacon/ Sausage toasted Sandwich and the ' Club' sandwich. Both promptly arrived and with one bite we both decided that our Sandwiches were the best we'd ever tasted. The ' Coffee House & Kitchen ' had a steady flow of Customers arriving and leaving and no wonder. The food is delicious. Cooked and prepared quickly, unlike some other places we've been to where the waiting time was 20 minutes and the Food was mediocre! All in all a very positive visit. Staff friendly and calm considering it was consistently busy. I'd give 9/10 . Do call in as I'm sure you won't be disappointed. What 'The Coffee shop & Kitchen ' seemed to be like a ' Tardis'!' . Small on the outside but very roomy on the inside ( I reckon it can comfortably seat 25 Patrons?). We will return at some...

2 Lies in this childish reply below. Why have a review system and then feel the need to write a 'controversial review' back to a customer who goes every week because you think the optics are good socially when you do so! "Food it's ok but kitchen are useless....always 40mins for eggs on toast"

What actually happened was I asked for a table and was seated with no 35min warning. Then I was asked to move to another table to seat a family (no issues). Ordered eggs on toast, eggs on bread came 40 mins later. Then you took it back and eggs on bread came again. I asked the waitress the second time to poke it and she laughed and also confirmed it was bread. I ate the eggs (really good) and left the bread, so your replies facts are a little off. Comments about friend are very odd as I never saw you so not sure on your narrative about her feelings. 6cut, playfoots, federal....to...

Used to be one of my favourite places, recommend to so many friends only to be disappointed today.

Walked in the shop, nobody pay attention to us, while waiting to be sit we looked at the back garden and were literally knly 2 tables taken. When we were finally asked if we need help the lady without checking she told us the back yard is full. We asked her if the tabled are reserved as it seems that there are few empty and she said oo am sorry didn’t realise you can sit there..

We then received our coffee cold, and I personally received my pancakes 35-40 minutes later after I asked twice from them. Once the waitress and one I went to the bar.

I ate them cause I was really hungry , the taste was good but you could say the st they were cooked a while ago as they were cold and a hard. Not fluffy and...
