Worst McDonald's. I rarely visit McDonald's because every single time something is wrong or I go through the drive-thru expecting a quick fix... It's almost laughable.. There will be no queue and they'll tell you to wait in a spot out front which are all taken by others who have been told the same... You will wait 15-20mins for your couple of items to come to you...
Most the staff are all rude unmannered young adults with no respect and carry around a consistent negative attitude. I have been meaning to leave a review and a formal complaint for a while now and my visit this morning has finally pushed me. We ordered two breakfast meals and got handed drinks and a bag by what seemed to be a young girl that was mute. No response to a hello or thank you. I asked my partner to check the bag as its never this straight forward. Missing one of the main meal items, the sausage and egg mcmuffin...I went straight back round the drive-thru. The lady at the first window tried to help which was nice and said to go to the next window... However the mute girl grew a voice and became aggressive at the second window "I know I put it in there, it's in that bag" she raised her voice at me... I passed the bag over to her and the lady from the first window.. To their surprise... It wasn't in there.. I couldn't believe I was getting accused of stealing a bloody mcmuffin. I said check the cameras I seriously wouldn't bother trying to con you out of a mcmuffin... They quickly got another, put in the bag of shoved it back to me without a sorry, thank you or goodbye.. Absolutely disgusting service. Made to feel like a criminal because she couldn't do her job and was probably trying to cover her back accusing me. Honestly I will never return to a McDonald's again.. It's going...

I have called the branch several times to complain over incorrect or missing items and there attitude is always the same; THEY DON'T CARE. Last time I complained I called the North West head office. They were very apologetic but the branch is still no better.
Branch is still a joke. Stood for 20 minutes for my order, in that time there were 3 different complaints.
Drive through is a pain, they can't deal with the two different lanes. You have to sit there and wait for the other lane to give their order. Look closely and they are both 'drive though lane 1'..... Word of warning, if you use the drive through check your order before driving off. My 6 year old can read better than the staff reading the drive through monitors. The number of times the order is incorrect is a joke.
The staff are terrible. I can count on one hand with missing fingers the times that Ive been served by a member of staff with manners and a smile. The staff on the floor clearing the tables and sweeping the floors have more manners and smile more.
If you like cold chips, McDonald's Walkden is the place to go. I'm sure they are cooked and then left somewhere for 20 minutes before they serve them.
Mcdonalda HO needs to do a clean sweep of the restaurant. Get rid of all the staff there and get in newly trained, efficient, friendly, HAPPY members of staff.
....and I can hear you all shouting "why go if it's that bad?" Conveinience, my daughters dance school is right around the corner and McDs is a 'treat' (using that word loosely) for her. But my recommendation is to avoid this branch like the plague, go further a field if you want McDs or go to Burger...
Read moreI am beyond disappointed, to say the least, my nightmare started on the 30/04/2023 at the drive-thru while waiting at the intercom to place my order 3 cars that had come after me placed their orders and joined the cue. After 10mins of me waiting for someone to speak and assist me the gentleman by the name of Evan Barrow asked for my order, I explained to him that this is not true customer service due to the fact that drive-thru are based on 1st come basis but 3 cars have driven past me while no one has explained or ask me to please wait if they are busy with something, instead I'm sitting in a car with a 5yr old in the back crying for a happy meal. He does not apologize for the inconvenience but instead asks if I want to order or not🤬, which infuriated me to the core I then asked for his manager's name and last name he said that he does not know it.
I then decided to drive off the drive-thru and walk in to place my order on the self-service screen and to my surprise the workstation and kitchen were filled with young lads probably under 25s trying to find they ways through. The manager that night was Jordan and I have to say McDonald's I'm disappointed.
I'm all for giving the youth work opportunities but I feel like customer service training is not sufficient.
Taking them off the streets to help/prepare them for the big world I support fully but make sure they don't bring the street mindset Into your franchise.
I vow never to spend my money there...
