At best the restaurant was ¼ full which makes the standard of service we received even more shocking. Three of us were waiting 25 - 30 minutes to get in. we were ok about waiting but when told to wait in the entrance and then staff completely forget about you and deal with others first it can get frustrating.
We finally got in and ordered our food, but after an hour wait only one persons starter came. we waited a further 30 minutes for two people's mains to come but the third person had to wait another 15 minutes and remind the staff twice to get there main course.
The other two starters never arrived and when we asked about it we got told they will bring them over waited another 15 minutes, before wh had to ask again and it was made apparent that they had forgot about us AGAIN.
At this point we had been waiting two hours and finish the food we had been given so we asked for a refund for the starters that were never provided and asked for the manager to come over because we couldn't wait any longer. Rather that speaking to us we simply received an email saying we had been refunded for the food that did not arrive.
The manager did not show his face once and there was no apology from the manager despite him being stood by the till. The place wasn't busy and was at most ¼ full.
the manager just ignored us when we were leaving and clearly did not care about the bad service. A couple of the nice well mannered waitresses apologised to us but nothing from the manager.
This is the lowest rating I have ever given and the worst restaurant service I have received in many years! Sadly this was a big let down for a restaurant that can sometimes provide a good experience. I came into the restaurant ordered my food via the till and after 10 minutes of sitting down I realised I made a big mistake as pretty much half of the restaurant was complaining about either the food taking way to long, wrong food coming to table or the food being to cold. I decided to wait it out for 1 HOUR AND 15 MINUTES, I then realised other tables who had been sitting down shorter than me were getting served, I asked the waitress where my food was and she went to check if my food was being cooked but had then informed me in an extremely rude and not bothered manner “your receipt has been missed off” I then obviously got a refund but walked out with no food after being sat there watching the chaos for 1 hour 15 minutes. I can appreciate restaurants being busy on a Friday but I’ve never seen staff so unorganised, not bothered about doing any work and just absolute chaos everywhere. On top of all this, you had one waitress who was just sat talking with a table for the whole time with this chaos going on. Asked for a table of 2 and host just walked off without saying a word, realised after a few seconds we were meant to follow her. 2 menus were thrown down on a table and host left again without saying a word. Tried to order on the app but crashed several times so got up to order. Tired to pay with Apple Pay which had biometric verification but was told to “insert card.” I didn’t have my cards on me so I had no means of paying. Fortunately my fried was able to pay. Drinks machine then broken. Food average. Asked for mayonnaise when food arrived and waitress just replied “what”. Asked again and after 10 minutes she returned and out the mayonnaise on the table behind us to a table who had just sat down and not even ordered.
