The Basil Greek Souvlaki — Restaurant in Salford

First time visiting and opted for a takeaway collection. The first thing I noticed was how immaculately clean the kitchen and dining area was. The food was really well packaged to keep warm and the owner seemed to take real care and pride in the preparation.

The food was delicious, we both had the Chicken Gyros which comes with a sprinkling of chips (which were also tasty) we both commented on how fresh and clean the ‘takeaway’ was and we didn’t have that horrible greasy after feeling. We also had some humous with pitta as a side which was also delicious and a large serving so plenty left over.

Will definitely be visiting again and hope this place gets the custom...

Writing on behalf of my mum... She has been recommending to all of the family as she visited recently with her friends and was thoroughly impressed. The food was good value, delicious and very fresh. I had being meaning to visit but hadn’t until I walked past on Thursday and saw two of my neighbours eating. I went in to say hello and saw the most amazing kebab on their table. Two nights later I called in and ordered a takeaway of mixed souvlaki and grilled lamb chops with roast potatoes.
