Went there the first time, food was ok however they were rationing the portions due to the government 50% off scheme. Then, went in there the second time. The food portions were bigger however the quality was poor, we ordered fries but received chips even though when we ordered, we were told they would be fries. Chips were budget frozen chips, we ordered bhuna curry and chicken palak but both were very sweet and didnt have any sort of spice just caramelised onions. Mint sauce tasted like sweet chilli sauce and not mint sauce at all. When we questioned this, we were told this is what you get in restaurants as though an assumption was made by the manager that we had never eaten in a restaurant before. Akash Balti is a great spot for a good meal. The food was tasty, well-cooked, and full of flavour — you can tell they put care into their dishes. The service was also very good, with staff who were friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

The restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it a nice place for a relaxed evening out. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 is that while everything was solid and enjoyable, it didn’t quite have that extra “wow” factor to make it perfect.

Went to akash yesterday for a curry the atmosphere wasn't great me an my partner felt as if we was being rushed as soon as starters were finished the curries were put on the table wasn't even asked if our food was okay it wasn't if the restaurant was busy but one of the waiters had not been seen for a long period of time while we was waiting for the bill my partner quickly went to the toilet and saw the waiter come out of the cubicle and never washed is hands I'm sorry but this waiter does mess with our plates and people's knives an forks I'm sorry but if I ad known this I would of walked out definitely...
