Where oh where do l begin?! I have been here many times and it is generally an enjoyable experience for the family. It is the best LDS that we have frequented and much better than the Kings Heath branch or indeed the Solihull branch. It was quiet and half of the place was off bounds. I was disappointed that the toilets were out of order. When asked l was advised to use the convenience of the neighbouring Burger and Sauce establishment. In my opinion a dining experience is let down by thinking a lack of toilets or non-functional toilets is anywhere near acceptable. I was very disappointed to learn that the alleged H.Q has terminated the Loyalty scheme whether it's the app or a physical card. Now this is where is gets daft; the app and it's linked loyalty scheme is encouraged on the paper menu which isn't actually the dine in menu but the takeaway menu according to the manager Ali. It's not illogical to assume the menu on the table is the correct menu in terms of available desserts or price. Once the desserts had arrived everything was visually appealing and a friendly attack on the senses. Prices have gone up and a company shouldn't comprehend charging said prices when there is an unacceptable multitude of issues such as these. I was charged an extra £1.50 for the cookie dough only to be told that the cheaper price is for half the amount and is actually for the takeaway menu and this was the fault of......you guessed it HEAD OFFICE. 😅 So although the desserts are rather nice and consistently tasty, the niggling issues that this business feels not worth correcting let LDS, as an ongoing concern, down.

This is a nice little dessert shop which is exponentially gaining recognition for all the right reasons. This refurbished building (which was once a worn down Pizza Hut as the locals mlight remember) has stunning interior which complements the delicious mouth watering desserts. There is now a small range of savoury snacks to add to the huge range of desserts which include cookie dough, cakes, milkshakes, crepes, sundaes, ice cream, sorbet, hot drinks, mocktails and smoothies. I highly reccommend the ferrero rocher or kinder bueno cookie dough. l was informed that all the crepes and waffles are egg free and there is also an egg free cake which is delicious for those with specific dietary requirements. That staff are very friendly and went through the whole menu and informed us of products that contain egg, nuts and other allergens. You can also see into the back kitchen from the till and see that the place is very strict on hygiene which is always a bonus.

Nice atmosphere, big portions and nice desserts. However my main complaint is on every occasion I’ve been here we’ve had 2-3 orders arrive at the table that are not ours and the staff is walking around with the plate asking every table until they finally find the person who ordered that specific dessert. The table number is noted down when ordering surely this shouldn’t be an issue? Also they do not bring out the desserts together, instead they bring them out 1 by 1. So first dessert arrives then another 5 minutes later then another one few minutes later. Makes no sense as you come to eat together as a group not by yourself. Also even had them come up to us saying your order is a collection right? When we’re sitting on our table waiting for desserts. Very disorganised and this needs to be sorted otherwise won’t be attending again.

Absolutely terrible! The manager needs training on customer service and people skills. I understand that it is a fast pace busy environment especially on the weekend however the service throughout was appalling. Waited 20mins in the queue to be served, the lady got my table number and order wrong, and to be honest its easily done, so I was understanding towards the situation. It was cash only but when it came to payment, they did not have change? Again, at the time I understood it, although if you truly process it, if I came short in money, I would have had to chosen another option as they wouldn't have accepted my short cut money. At this point, I had seen a lady in the back where cooking, combing a boys hair, in a food environment? Another customer and I just looked at each other in disgust... Anyway, went back to add to my order, it was put through as just icecream when what I ordered came with the ice cream which resorted to paying more. Waited about another 25 minutes for our dessert, it was rushed, it literally came out as hot powered custard. Not edible at all. The manager was called, rather than understanding, he decided to take the approach of shouting at me and telling me that its the quality and thats how it tastes, when my friend questioned it, he then said I could change it on the bases that it costs exactly the same. At this point you would think given the utter mess they were in, he would apologise, and allow my to exchange without dictating what I must do. He promised after putting him in his place and arguing that I could not get a refund that I will come out quick. He avoided walking new our table for the whole duration of waiting which was about an additional 30mins until the point I had to approach him and ask whats going on. In the end what I had ordered had been done twice one for eat in and one for take out. At this point he has already disappointed and ruined what was supposed to be a short evening out. So I politely said, well its come out twice as a good will gesture and form of good customer service after this experience can I not take that one too, its only going to waste. His unprofessional self starts tapping his stomach saying "all for me, going to eat it now." He should be helping his staff prep food since it was busy, he doesn't provide change, deal with customers or respect his staff. Now although this is relatively long, there's alot missing on how it truly was. My local has turned into somewhere to avoid based on...

I'd avoid again. Got to the place just before 10 with a family of 8, having paid for parking too. We wanted to celebrate the anniversary of our own shop, so just wanted to have a nice time with the family having dessert. The store was closing at 11pm. We sat down at a suitable place for our family, saw that one of the tables hadn't even been cleaned yet. Got up and asked a young boy by the till for menu's and if he could clean the table. He looked very tired and overworked, apologised for the inconvenience and cleaned the table. He didn't bring our menus, had probably forgotten. While we were waiting, saw some fiends and they said that the service was really slow and that they've paid for parking. They ended up leaving and asking for a refund. We probably waited for 20 minutes. Then I had to get up and ask for menus again, this time the staff member was a lady and she also apologised saying they were really busy. However, they were not very busy, they were just understaffed! We received our menus at 10:30pm, and tried placing our orders at 10:40pm, when the young boy at the till said that they don't take any orders anymore. This time he was clearly overworked and was obviously sweating. I felt bad for him. I was perplexed at his answer. Then why give us our menus? I told him that we are placing the order late because they gave us the menus late, and when he asked one of his colleagues working in the kitchen, she shook her head and then looked very annoyed at me. I was not happy and the boy tried to make it better by asking his colleague at the back again, she turned around and asked another staff member, who also looked my way in a very rude manner. Their body language definitely didn't look professional. They didn't even want to admit that they made mistakes or were late or unprofessional. At some point the young boy tried again and then they said that it's okay they'll make the order, but we're still unhappy about it. I said to him it's a big order, are you very sure because I don't want to get kicked out while still eating. So poor guy came back and said no sorry and we left. Some of my family members went home because it was now too late and others went to a different dessert place with me. Little dessert shop did a great job of ruining our family night out. I do not blame (all) the staff, I blame the management. Maybe try having more staff available, if that's not possible, try and set a clear limit on how many tables/people could be...

Been many times before, service and food had been great. The past couple of times i have been with my friend, food has not been the best. First time, my crepe was served really hard, could not cut it with my knife. When i spoke to one of the servers, she told me herself my crepe was not hard. She had not tried the crepe herself or even tried to cut it, but wanted to tell me it was not hard at all. Another server came and she was really lovely about it and had apologised. I had gone again just a couple days ago and when i went to order, the server ignored me and continued to serve someone else behind me. When our desserts had finally come, they forgot extras on mine and my friends cheesecake came out completely frozen. When i spoke to the servers, they said they would sort it. They put it in the microwave and i asked for a fresh one as they should not be heating cheesecakes. One server would not leave me alone, constantly asking me what was wrong with it when i had specified i had already spoken to other servers and continued to tell me it was not a microwave but a 'defrosting machine'. I know what a microwave looks like, but said i would prefer a fresh cheesecake, rather than them trying to defrost it in the microwave by heating it. She was adamant it was a defrosting machine so i left it. When the cheesecake came back, it was warm, sloppy and had melted all over the plate. Before going, i spoke to one of the servers and said it had been microwaved as it was warm and sloppy and they should not be heating cheesecake. Again, she was adamant that it was a defrosting machine. I had no apology for this, we have paid money for decent food and good customer service but have not been receiving it recently. I also ordered cake and custard to take out. When i arrived home and gave it to my brother, the custard pot was under halfway full. The food has not been up to standards, considering we pay a decent price to get decent food. Not happy...
