Attended this establishment on Sat 13 Sep 25 as had read they had live singers starting at 8.30pm.
Got there for 8pm and the place was like stepping back in time.
The whole experience was awful and I would advise everyone to stay away.
Beer is awful (dont think they clean the lines)
The place is filthy
My companion who was with me was Hungary and against my advice ordered some food The person running the kitchen at the back of the pub is independent but it's in the establishment.
He was rude, the food was disgusting. My companion has ordered dal makhani. If you ever search dal makhani it's made from black urid beans and garnished with butter and cream hence the name makhani.
The guy gave us a portion of green moon dal fobbing it off as dal makhani and to top it off he tried to over charge us. The board infront of the kitchen stated it was £5 for the portion however he tried to charge my companion £7. And when I questioned him he was like I gave you a larger portion. Again when I questioned him he became rude and offensive.
We then complained to the owner who told us it's not his business. However, if it's on his premises then it should be his business.
To top it off we waited until 9pm but no band played so we left
