The New Flower Pot Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Sandwell

Unfortunately, the only thing authentic about this place is the disappointment.

Let’s start with the service—painfully slow and entirely indifferent. I waited five minutes just for the staff to get my phone order right, only to arrive at the restaurant and find it was wrong anyway. I then had to wait another five minutes for them to correct it, and by the time I finally got to eat, the food was cold. Not once did I receive an apology for their mistake—not even a hint of accountability.

I ordered three Chicken Tikka wraps, each of which had more salad than chicken, and a kid’s sausage and chips. Not only was the kids’ meal wrong, but they charged me for something else entirely—nearly £3 more than what I originally ordered.

The Chicken Tikka wrap was perhaps the biggest crime against Indian cuisine I’ve ever tasted. It was essentially a pool of limp salad, wrapped around a few pieces of minimal, tired chicken.

If you’re craving Indian food, do yourself a favor—go literally anywhere else. Or better yet, cook it yourself. It’ll save you money, time, and emotional damage.

Not the biggest place but comfortable enough, sports screens around the walls too, licensed bar but the main thing is the food, it is absolutely gorgeous, beats the hen and chickens and the vine hands down, price is OK too. Try it the food is divine. I'm a big curry fan for as long as I can remember and this is the best curry in the black country and I've been to them all

UPDATE : staff have changed again as of April 2022, not sure if it's been sold to New owners but food now below average, not the brilliant food it once was, a chef has left by the look of it, shame really because the food really was the best around.

UPDATE : food back up to standard again, popped in after a hiatus and the curry was just fantastic, worth popping...

There was a gang of us in attendance & we all had a great time . From the moment we walked in , it felt homely & staff are attentive & we started on drinks as each member of the party arrived.

Then we got the menu's to choose what food we would eat & we chose a variety of sides & mains around a base of a large Veggie mixed grill & a large meat mixed grill.

The food arrived hot & delicious , the staff were attentive to our needs & they're a good bunch who are funny with the banter too.

Their take out delivery seemed to be in full swing too as many people popped in had a drink then took their food.

Well worth a evening out & book table in advance so you have enough spaces...
