Best Italian in East K. No question. I often go there for lunch when I have time to myself and 3 courses for £15 is an absolute STEAL. They also make STRONG Long island ice teas which is always nice. Staff are friendly and give great service. Food is always delicious and they change the lunch menu every month to keep it fresh. Definitely recommend them for a light lunch if you have a day off.
Cons: Sometimes the chef leaves at 2pm meaning you can get turned away at the door with no food. :( A la carte menu can be a bit pricey for what you get. Ravioli of the day is ALWAYS either beef or spinach & ricotta. Neither of which typically appeal to me. Read moreWent in this afternoon to purchase two gift vouchers as we very much enjoy eating at Arigo. He then appeared in the street outside and became abusive and started shouting at me. I tried to explain that I had left because I was being ignored and he continued shouting. I left and a couple of passers by asked if everything was ok. I have eaten at Arigo a few times and the food and service have always been fantastic. I don't know what happened today, however I...

Lobster ravioli was finished and their pasta choice is not extensive. Saltimboca tasted of nothing but lemon and was fatty. Mash potatoes salty and mushy. My friend enjoyed her veal chop and my husband felt his lamb was ordinary. We had to ask them to chill the wine which they willingly did. We waited 45 mins for the starters. Soup was excellent calimari and whitebait overcooked. We waited another 45 mins for our mains and when we asked where our dinner was there was no apology. 2nd visit. Enjoyed our first but it was expensive for what we had....
