Barocco — Restaurant in Scotland

I certainly wouldnt reccommend this venue if you are in a group.

A group of five of us went to Barocca to celebrate finishing an exam and the barmaid came to our table and said that we were being to loud then proceeded to lift the glasses from the table two of which werent finished. I followed her to the bar to get an explination as she stormed away while we were trying to speak, she then told me that people dont want to hear us so i asked the other 3 tables if this was the case and none agreed.

I would suggest that if you want a quiet pub then perhaps the comment saying "good for groups" should be removed. Such a shame as we were looking forward to enjoying a nice meal and night...

Came here a few weeks ago and thought it was amazing value for money as we really enjoyed our food! We came out our way on Tues this week at 5:45pm, to grab some dinner, but were told there was no food as there was no staff to take over from the woman that was working there. Felt bad cos I was a bit dour faced about it, but was pretty annoyed to be turned away when we came there specially. Unfortunately won't risk it again. Having to pay for parking etc, and then have to drive elsewhere, not worth taking the chance in future. Went for lunchtime meal deal. Staff assumed I wanted full portions of chicken goujon. With burger and fries. Asked if we were in for meal deal then told me she had already put on full portions. Nothing was cooked right. Chips were soggy and inedible. The burger was completely different from previous visit. And my lunchtime cost was £11 dearer than previous week. I never mentioned it as I knew it would be taken personally. Last week's visit was fantastic. This visit has left a foul taste in my mouth. Won't...
