Warm, welcoming & dog friendly too! Steeped in Oban's martime heritage, the atmosphere is brimming with traditional seafaring character. I particularly enjoy the nautical decor and many photographs of Oban's sailors and ships of years gone by.
The food is excellent traditional Scottish fayre at very reasonable prices. Prize winning ales with an extensive range of internationally reknowned Scottish malts are served with a smile. The coffee is good too & is always served with a piece of delicious Scottish shortbread!

Which from my experience they do not like, I would advise you take your business to an establishment that would appreciate you. I was belittle by the bar staff as if I were some local hayseed they we even saying Yeehaw to one another. Interesting, I enjoyed my pint and laughed along then left. Friendly service and chatty patrons. Was very happy I stopped in for one on a crawl of the town. Wasn’t on the Tennants on this trip to Scotland which is unusual as I love the stuff and you don’t get it over the border on tap. I was on the Guinness and it was a nice pint in here.
