Burger King — Restaurant in Scotland

First time visit to this particular Burger King branch. A good location with ample car parking.

Food is a high, burger King standard. We ordered 2 meals and the food was fresh and piping hot. We visited on a Friday around 12.30 in the afternoon. There was a constant throughput of customers that did not appear to fluster staff. In fact, I witnessed a member of staff take time out and personally assist customers through the digital ordering screen system. Each of the customers, which included elderly, was so happy, relieved, and grateful that staff were so helpful. On each occasion with was a female staff member, possibly a duty manager, I'm not sure BUT top marks to you for excellent customer service. The restaurant and toilets were very clean. Only one thing I'd mention is that I did not see an automatic door or an assisted door for folks with compromised mobility. There was a powered wheelchair user and some elderly folk's, and this would've been helpful. If this was here and I just did not notic, I apologise, but I do not think those folks seen it either. Absolutely shocking service at this new Burger King. Waited 45 minutes for 3 meals by which point by son was starving. The person next to us had been waiting for a long time too and by the time his other came out it was the wrong one! The manager andy was less that helpful and told me it wasn’t possible to give me a refund due to their software. He said he’d contact his manager but I wouldnt be able to speak to them. He then tried to send me off with my order and a refund receipt. However the refund clearly stated it hadn’t been authorised. He huffed and puffed when I mentioned this. He also put the sole blame on the new staff members, who were nothing but helpful. This was frankly a shameful visit to a less than impressive new store. Honestly speechless! This 5 star review is so very well deserved. This Burger King triumphs others in many different categories such as service, cleanliness, ambiance and the staffing team who were all brilliant and attended to my needs for the duration of my time there (a special pat on the back to Lewis, he was an amazing worker, very friendly and he had a brief chat and helped me clarify all my queries throught my visit).This burger king is much better than others I’ve been to and the quality of everything was superb.
