We visited @cafemille.finnieston for somewhere to wind down and enjoy a coffee and try some cakes. The rain in Glasgow had been as predictable as possible so this was perfect as we were in the west end ☔️.
Walking into this coffee shop it gives you a suprise to how unique the decor inside is, super comfy seats that make you not want to leave. Inviting staff who are so helpful in making you decide. We couldn't decide between basque cheesecake and the Kanaffe Cheesecake, so we picked both 🤣🍰.
Coffee - the coffee is on the strong side which I like we didn't get syrup in our coffees as we picked cakes and it paired really well together! The flavour of the coffee and the sweetness of the cakes just balanced eachother out perfectly.
The front of the coffee shop is bright and every corner has some artwork hanged up on the walls or physically on the walls. Their is uniqueness to this cafe that just makes it feel so welcoming it would be a mistake not to sit inside and just explore the walls while catching up with some work or catching up with a friend!
They also do breakfast menu items which we sadly couldn't try as we had eaten before we arrived at the cafe. ☺️
We got parked no problem. And sat for almost 2 hours just watching the world go by outside the window
If you're ever feeling like trying something new in Argyle Street, I recommend you pop down for a coffee and pick something from their menu but especially that basque cheesecake....

my food was hot and really tasty. my drink came in a cute little glass. I think the espresso is a touch robust for my taste, but I’ll just get a latte next time.
I came here to study and had a great experience. it’s a cozy atmosphere with large armchairs, big tables, a bar facing the street, and french doors that they propped open.
I came around 1pm and had no problem finding a table. they have free wifi as well.
I will for...
Read moreThe best cafe in Glasgow! Such a hidden gem. Firstly, I need to comment on the amazing staff. So friendly, personable, and remain cheery even when extremely busy (the American girl makes an amazing iced oat latte, and the Scottish boy makes a great cappuccino). The food is incredible and very reasonably priced- the homemade soup is to die for, and the pistachio croissant is the best I’ve ever tried, and they have amazing veggie options. The cafe itself is beautiful, has amazing vibes and there’s always a great playlist on. We need more cafes like this...
