The Brass Monkey — Restaurant in Scotland

Parked in the space outside the bar on Kent Road. Was still in the car. An employee in a blue jumper with a scraggly grey beard came out and said "This is our loading area- you shouldnt be parking here." NB: no clear street signage and the road markings have faded to be illegible and almost invisible, also the delivery lorries had pulled up adjacent to me and had open access to the pavement. Employee then proceeded to stand on the pavement huffing and puffing. I then offered to move my car to which he replied "Yea, yea."

Extremely rude man. Terrible attitude. Bad reflection on the business...

Why serve wine that is so awful. I mean the worst sauvignon blanc I haver ever tasted... and so i tried a pinot grigio which was worse. What a shame cause its a nice pub with friendly bar staff... Regarding your reply. I drunk both wines as i wanted to get merry as I was going to the Ricky Gervais show. I do wish i asked to sample. I was visiting Glasgow and some friends recommended trying this place out, I’m so glad I did!

They’ve got an amazing range of craft beers on draft and in the fridge. When I was sure what I wanted, I spoke with Harrison behind the bar for recommendations. He took the time to work out what I usually like and made the best recommendations based on that. Even though they were busy, I really felt they made time to make the best suggestions possible!
