Compassionate. The wonderful Cafe Artysans sits, tucked away out of sight and captures return visitors with it's high standards across the board. However, what sets Cafe Artysans apart is their friendliness and MISSION to build people up. After listening to staff and watching their interactions I saw an excellent team dynamic, where they supported each-other tremendously, one staff member walking in was welcomed warmly and clearly very cared for by their peers, this extends to the customer and you can feel the warmth and trust in this clean and inviting setting. Staff are very friendly and will go above and beyond to accommodate you. The lady who served me (Jacky) was very friendly and offered some recommendations for sight-seeing around Inverness. Cafe Artysans stands out as much as a charity as it does a cafe, supporting young people into developing key practical skills and professional standards to prepare them for later life. Thank you Cafe Artysans for an inspiring full breakfast. Cafe Artysans is your first stop for quality eating...
Read moreCafe Artysans is a great social enterprise training young people into the world of work. It is located in the centre of Inverness just a walk away from both train and bus stations. They have a wonderful gift shop area as you come in with plenty of seating for breakfast, lunch or a snack.

Unfortunately my breakfast wasn't that great with the kidney/baked bean combo, the sausage had a slight perfume taste and the black pudding didnt really have a taste. It was quite disappointing as they charge £11.25 for this, however my girlfriends French toast was delicious and went down a treat.
It's a lovely clean and tidy cafe, slightly overpriced but well worth it to support young people getting into work. Hopefully next time it will...

Mediocre food and shockingly poor service. My burger was served with a piece of plastic film still on the patty - completely unacceptable. It was eventually replaced, but the new burger came without the onion rings that were clearly advertised. The fries were different too, and not for the better.
The place was clearly understaffed, with long waits and disorganised service. One of the waitresses even dropped someone’s food at the table. The staff seemed overwhelmed and poorly trained.
If this place wants to survive, I’d strongly recommend hiring more people and training them properly. As it stands, it feels like a business on the brink. A real let-down - I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings. Avoid unless you’re absolutely...
