Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Scotland

Was just about to buy myself and my partner a coffee while out shopping with my little one . Never even got near a til , was looking at the menu as the server behind the til points and mimics my partner pushing my daughter in the trolley then whispers to another member of staff. My daughter is five and may look to old to be pushed in a trolley however she is disabled and for her own safety is usually in a special buggy unfortunately we had taken a different car and forgotten to transfer the buggy hence why my daughter was in a trolley. Is this really acceptable in this day and age? I have no idea what his problem was but he certainly knew he was in the wrong when I let him know why we were leaving his face said it all yet never offered an apology. This person serving was mid 20s and bald. A full grown man mocking others is not big or attractive, I think some customers service training or new staff...

Ok, coffee is lovely unless you ask for decaf which is watery and tasteless (staff agree)Usual is a skinny flat white, always good. Staff seem happy in their work and are very pleasant and helpful. The queues can be terrible at times as it snakes round the fridges towards the entrance and can be a bit of a long stand. Decor is now getting pretty shabby and the upholstery on the seats are beyond filthy.Sometimes I don't want to sit on them .That's the dirt you see so not sure what you would find on the leather couches if took a cloth across them ?? Came in here to find a table before ordering and not even 10 seconds after sitting down I hadn’t even removed my bag I was asked are you ordering anything you can’t sit there if you aren’t by a very rude member of staff, I informed that I did intend to buy something I just had to rest due to my disability and wanted to look at the menus online before ordering , just to be told no you can’t sit there then you have to order So I decided to not bother and likely won’t ever purchase anything here again due to the service I received .
