I recently came in to visit the store for my morning latte which I always do before I head to work. I was absolutely disgusted with what I saw! The manager (i think her name was Charlene) berrating staff within eye and earshot. Not a single person in there looked happy at what they do, (no doubt all had an earful from the so called manager). I can understand the need to reprimand staff in the event of error but to be tearing them a new one while in close proximity of customers is downright disgraceful. And what happened to that friendly green haired boy that used to serve me most days? Oh that's right he was fired! Perhaps management need to spend less time bragging about what happens in their stores? I'm a manager myself and I would never act as childish or downright horrible as she was from start to finish. I for one will not be back. Management needs an overhaul! I anticipate nobody will bother to answer this level of complaint since the lack of care I see must come from somewhere higher up. Or maybe you don't actually interview your applicants in the first place.

Read moreI am always love going to Costa it is my favourite coffee place but unfortunately I experienced very poor customer service at the next Livingston and fair to say I am disappointed. Attitude of staff was very poor. I was unsure how to scan my points card via the phone app and i was asked in a very abrupt manner ‘have you no scanned that yet’ I reply I do not know how to scan it and no reply from staff member. I asked for 2 coconut lattes to take away and I was given to normal lattes and sitting cups and I said to the barista that sorry I asked for 2 coconut lattes to take away and the barista just started to make a sighing noise and resumed to make another which was correct but when given me the coffee she slammed it in front of me with a very cheeky look on her face. Read moreI ordered a hot drink with oatmeal milk and I saw how barista poured just simple milk instead... I don't have problems with lactose, but I paid more for it and I ordered oatmeal milk, if I had problems with lactose after I had problems, so it's unacceptable to do like that! Also in the same Costa it was situation when I ordered drink and asked about topping, they didn't put anything. I'm not a scandal person, but these two situations make me unhappy and after that I'm thinking not to go to this cafe and go another also popular, you probably understand which one. If a person, who makes drinks doesn't remember what exactly they need to put, they need to have some notice about it, it wasn't the same person, different people, days.
