Deli il Cardo — Restaurant in Scotland

OMG - do not hesitate if you are reading reviews and looking for a delicious deli sandwich! We were passing through Largs and contemplating stopping at supermarket to pick up a sandwich when we decided to treat ourselves to something a little more 'upmarket'. The ciabatta with halloumi and sundried tomato and rocket and pesto was everything I dreamed of and more, so fresh and tasty. I wish I lived closer, I would love to try more of the menu based off my single experience. Everything in the deli looked fresh, was reasonably priced, and the staff were really accommodating and welcoming. Will 100% be back next time I'm in the area. Just discovered this place. Coffee and a cake first visit, was good. Just been again, had halloumi, pesto, sun-dried tomato panini and mushroom & tarragon soup to takeaway. Phoned it in, got there in 10 minutes and it was ready. Both excellent, soup so tasty!! Circa £6. I'll be using this place for lunch if I'm in the area from now on. Staff...

The food was delicious but couldn't understand the pricing I was told that I could only have a half portion of soup as that was all that was left but was charged for a full portion. When I queried this I was told that the price was the same. I was puzzled. Apart from that it is a good lunch...
