We visited Drouthy Neebors today whilst weather was beautiful and we sat out in your beer garden which was jampacked with humans and their furkids. Ordered food and drinks at the bar, our server was pleasant, and we took drinks through whilst awaiting food. Half an hour later, still no food and our drinks were al.ost finished. I asked member of staff if our food was almost coming, she replied ' she had no idea'. Eventually, it came. Fish & chips with garden peas(fish as greasy as and tasteless, very little chips) and gammon steak, chips, fried egg with peas. Saving grace was that we ordered side of 6 onion rings which were fine. Egg was perfect. Gammon steak, I shoulda fed to dogs in beer garden. If I threw it, it woulda went boing! n bounced it was that tough and unchewable. Never again!! A totally unenjoyable experience for almost twenty six quid. Customer service is an absolute MUST!! You could be getting better business/more custom if you had more staff on, our visit wasn't worth the wait or money, and tje amount of uncollected plates of food, glasses etc left on tables was shocking!! We...
Read moreAbsolutely spot on. We were caravanning nearby and needed a local pub to watch the football to save us an hour+ drive home to watch it. Thankfully we came across this gem, which was also dog friendly (win!). We spent several hours here, two adults, two children (7&9), and one dog. There was water and treats for the doggo, we all had lunch, drinks, and dessert, and were pleased with our meals and in particular the attentiveness of the staff. Additionally, there was free pool, which our children enjoyed. Loads of screens to watch the game, and we won to top it off :) staff and patrons congratulated us on the win of our team too, which is absolutely brilliant when you think of the issues football can cause in some places. We felt very welcome all round and if we are ever in Largs again, we will definitely return. Thank you...
Read moreA friend had booked a table for food before heading out to the local Theatre, when we arrived it was jam packed due to England V Scotland Rugby, this didn't bother us, we were taken to our table through the back which was a bit quieter but staff had to ask people to leave the table so we could sit, staff then cleared away plates then gave us a cloth to wipe our own table and asked if we wanted the glasses taken away!! They were not our glasses to begin with!! After about 20 minutes my friend battled through the crowd to order at the bar to be then told the kitchen was closed, they couldn't cope anymore, this was a poor show from staff as they could have told us when we came in, so we left and went else where, we won't be back here, it...
