Went in with a friend and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by incredibly lovely and friendly staff. This place is allergy friendly and caters for coeliacs. The food and coffee is great and not over priced. Added bonus- they are dog friendly too!! I will definitely be coming back in the future.

An old haunt for me. This is a quality bistro where good food is guaranteed. Its street terrace is a great place to watch all things go by. A must visit in Largs.😊23/9/24 . Great lunch Cock -a- Leekie soup and Tomato ,Red pepper with farmhouse bread. Always the same here.... Thank Goodness🤗

Excellent food. Staff friendly and helpful. Social distancing followed. Toilets clean. Tables cleaned between customers and seats etc sanitised. Nice selection of food and cakes, great prices. Majority of produce locally sourced.

We have had lunch here on several occasions for many years, always our 'go to place' for lunch or afternoon tea/coffee. However, we visited on 17/10/25 and were truly disappointed with our overall experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, as always, but on initially stepping in, we were met with a 'smog' and strong smell of what appeared to be cooking fat! Not sure about extractor fan/ventilation efficiency. Not at all welcoming 😕 We both had baked potato with different fillings. The cheese and pickle one was enjoyed and was a generous portion. My cajun chicken one was very bland, although the chicken was well cooked and tasty, not a lot of cajun spice involved! Again a generous portion. However, the radiator we were sitting beside was nothing short of 'rank' very dirty with some foodstuffs in it.... not at all pleasant. The prices have hiked up but that's pretty much everywhere nowadays. Very disappointing visit and most probably will not visit...

We visited Largs today and popped into Bagel Basket . Well, did we do the right thing. I had scrambled eggs and toast, my husband had a Cheese n ham toastie. Everything was so fresh. I couldn't finish the big portion of beautifully made eggs. My husband enjoyed his too and remarked on the coleslaw, home made I'm certain. The staff were just lovely. We spoke to the owner on our way out, to thank him.He explained everything was sourced locally. Fantastic. A lovely man, no wonder happy staff. Most definitely will be our 'go to' when in Largs. A previous comment said about prices being high, well I disagree , the quality unquestionable and definitely value for money. Thank you...

Went in because it advertised itself as award winning. I ordered a a turkey and cranberry bagel with cream cheese. Meal was generally poorly presented, with bits of end of crisp packet dumped on the plate. Bagel was not home made. Turkey was turkey roll ! . However, it tasted good. Other meal was cheese panini. Advertised as mature Lockerbie cheese. Tasted disappointingly bland. Tables were too close together. Toilets were not clean. Sounds harsh but they over promised and under delivered in my opinion. Service was friendly and efficient. Were proud of their 'local sourcing . Reading the blurb this meant they bought from the wholesalers on the...
