I have visited this pub recently and found it very cosy and friendly. They operated a dual pricing for certain meals and and I would say that when I ordered the steak pie smaller portion as against there normal offering I was surprised at the quantity and quality of food on the plate and questioned that it was the smaller portion I had received which they confirmed. It was just like a normal portion you would get anywhere else. Certainty there is no scrimping regards to quantity of food served. Would recommend the prawn cocktail starter as it had a load of prawns and was nicely presented. Staff were very polite and attentive and tables were cleaned as soon as they were vacated. Overall it was a good dining experience although the fresh orange and lemonade was a bit dear, it certainly not put me off going back, would highly recommend a visit if out for the day in Largs.

Great wee pub. Nice staff. Excellent home cooking. Most of the mains come in small or large portions. I always get the small, which as you can see by this steak pie, isn't small at all! Hubs goes for large, so got 2 fish on his plate! The chips are always delicious by the way. I've had the small portion of macaroni on previous visits, and it always beats me. I'd have given it 5* if the pub itself had been a wee bit warmer, but that's the ONLY reason I gave it 4*.

Was recommended by a workmate. This is a very nice and friendly little pub. The staff are fantastic, and good with the little ones. And the food is very nice. The beer battered haggis and crispy wings were delicious. The steak wrap with fries, and the Steak pie and chips were both spot on. Next time we're up Largs, we'll make a point to stop by again.

We had read very good reviews of this well organised , friendly pub in Largs. It's directly opposite the local Wetherspoons. (We avoid Spoons ). We are certainly glad that we popped in for a drink and meal. The menu has all the usual bar food but with a few quirky additions. We visited on Tuesday 15th of September at 4pm. We were greeted at the door and had our temperature checked and hands sanitised and then taken to a great table at the window. Perfect! The two very friendly and efficient young female staff were very attentive and smiley. ( even though they were wearing masks ) . If you get to visit Largs, pop into The Three Reasons. You won't be...

Got advised to visit here for lunch, even told we could take the dog too... travelled here today, was a big mistake!! Got told there was a table up the back, by female bar staff (bare in mind we had a dog) , all I could hear was customers tutting at us!!!!! Then we were told we couldn't sit there as it's too close to the kitchen, by another female member of staff and she was goin to speak to the manager, after being left to stand in the bar and feeling completely ignored and bein made to feel embarrassed we left. Won't b recommending to any dog owner's out for lunch. Very disappointed that staff can't seat people with dogs and as a result lost a good...
