Greggs — Restaurant in Scotland

This Greggs is fab. Lots of choice and although the queue was long, it went down quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I went at 12:45pm, in the middle of lunchtime and asked for a tomato soup. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait while it warms up. I asked if there was anything else gluten free that I could have but they didn’t have anything else except brownies, which aren’t really good for lunch. Disappointed today to be served cappuccino with chocolate that was not like a cappuccino at all! I took it back and it was remade and I watched while machine did indeed do a cappuccino with chocolate. By the time I took the cover off a couple of minutes later, no froth, no chocolate. Obviously the machine is not working properly and the staff should/ must be aware of that and advise customer. I’ve always bigged up Greggs and said it has the best coffee around. What to do? Queue went down quickly as another server jumoed on but he was a bit abrupt like we were disturbing him from other duties! I got what I wanted going in and served quickly considering the queue when I walked in.
