We have tried pretty much every bakery in Southside & West end of Glasgow in search for the best pastry. After visiting Copenhagen last year we have yet to find somewhere as good, until we found Honeytrap. We were initially sceptical due to it being plant-based and unsure how well dairy-free alternatives would work when creating pastries, however it’s better than you could ever imagine. The crispy buttery-ness of the pastries is so good and the quality of ingredients they use are top class. We have tried almost everything on the menu (which is always rotating) and there’s nothing that we didn’t like. We recommend this to everyone we know and they all think the same, it’s an amazing place that is a ritual in our weekend Shawlands walk. So good!!! Blueberry almond croissant, plum danish and shepherds pie, when they are on the menu, are our firm favourites… excited for their return…pretty please!

Me & my partner had this place jotted down on our must visit places when we were planning our Glasgow trip from the get go - and I am SO pleased we got to go ☺️ Absolutely INSANE pastries, and the atmosphere is so welcome and lovely. It’s so refreshing and comforting walking in somewhere where you know the staff are genuinely lovely caring and normal people who support important things, and are vocal about that support. May have left with two boxes filled with treats and I can tell you that if I lived in Glasgow I would be in every single day they were open ✨ If Honey trap ever wanna franchise out and open a vegan bakery in belfast I would be fully in support of that 👀 ❤️

Honeytrap made a delicious vegan lemon and raspberry cake for our charity's big birthday celebration. Everyone absolutely loved it - the sponge was fluffy, light and soft and the inside oozed with the most amazing raspberry sauce. The icing wasn't too heavy and the decoration was beautifully done. This is such a brilliant cake shop if you're looking for a special, tasty cake that's not a standard victoria sponge type cake, and they prove that plant based baking can be incredible. We'd recommend them to all (not just vegans!). Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

A Truly Special Bakery

The Honeytrap Bakery is an absolute gem. Everything I’ve tried here has been exceptional — from their perfectly flaky croissants to their rich, indulgent brownies, every bite tastes fresh, creative, and made with genuine care. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into both the recipes and the atmosphere.

What I love most is how welcoming and inclusive the space feels. It’s full of warmth, personality, and heart — the kind of place where you can feel part of something positive. The staff are always friendly and attentive, and it’s clear they put real passion into their work and community.

It’s rare to find a bakery that consistently delivers on taste, quality, and soul. The Honeytrap Bakery does all three beautifully. Highly recommend stopping by — it’s easily one...

as a north american transplant, i feel a sort of kinship when i step into a shop and hear an american accent. it's similar to when you're talking to a fellow anglophone in another language and you're both bad at it but refuse to acknowledge it so you carry on in the second language and walk away from the interaction thinking 'wow, i got through that. go me!' this is the second bakery in glasgow i've been in where the cashier had been north american so it has me thinking what kind of baking industry scotland has that influences so many americans to come across the pond. things that make you think. really awesome cinnamon roll like wow i cannot believe it was vegan it was so moist and delicious and soft and i will be back. trying to save money but wow YUM! even when it was raining i still ate...
