Really is an excellent shop, the staff are friendly and knowledgable about what they sell, and most importantly the coffee beans are fantastic in quality! Their prices are also great, most places will sell "freshly roasted" beans for easily twice the price that Braithwaite do. Braithwaite, however, roast theirs on site and sell them for prices that practically undercut how much supermarkets sell beans for. The quality though is excllent in comparison. If you want coffee or tea, or any equipment for making it, this really is the place to go!

If I can give 10 stars out of 5, I would…. Lovely small shop, the gentlemen were very friendly and knowledgeable. They didn’t belittle me despite my minimum knowledge about teas.. great range of varieties. It was a great experience

First time in this shop, great wee old fashioned tea/coffee shop. Managed to find an awesome tea strainer and I've just tried the tea that came with it and it was delicious

Just love this little, old-fashioned (or in today's speak - vintage) shop in Dundee selling coffee beans of various varieties, freshly ground coffee and teas. Choose your beans depending on your taste, ask the lovely lady to grind them eg for cafitiere or whatever your brewing mechanism is, and off she goes with the vintage bean grinder - like one I used to use in my teenage days, working in a deli after school. The aroma of the ground coffees is delicious. The shop quirky with old fashioned drawers for tea, little tiny wooden decorated drawers lining the walls and interesting nooks, crannies and teapots. An experience visiting here like walking into a past era. And apparently the gentleman who has been roasting the beans has been doing so since he was 15 and he's now in his...

This shop is so lovely. A real jewel in the crown for the city centre. It has a beautiful, traditional, almost vintage feel whilst stocking all sorts of interesting modern coffee and tea brewing kit and caboodle. The coffee beans are always so good too, with a frequently changing special amongst the large and varied selection available. The staff are always so helpful and will advise you on the choices available and grind your beans to the right size for your preferred brewing method. The selection of teas is...
