I am leaving this review as supportive criticism.
I love the Mexican grill and have never had issues before with other meals I've ordered in the past. The staff are also really lovely people.
Mexican grills' food is usually absolutely amazing; however, we ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was so tasteless, a little spicy but completely bland. We couldn't smell or taste any cumin whatsoever (in my opinion, cumin is the main scent/flavour to chicken fajitas) the cheese was also mozzarella which is confusing (as mozzarella is Italian) and totally disappointing as mozzerella is tasteless also.
Also the portion of condiments, i.e. salsa, lettuce (with about 2 strands of carrot?), cheese, soured cream, and avocado (not guacamole), were VERY small.
Definitely need more salad and cheese. Salsa, soured cream and avocado was okay portion size.
So please make slight changes to your chicken fajitas, add cumin to the chicken seasoning and replace the mozzerella cheese with strong cheddar.
Here is a helpful seasoning mix for the best chicken fajitas which will keep customers coming back for more!
Read moreNever again. This review is for anyone who has traveled outside of Dundee - The mexican food is, for the most part, simply no bueno. Tortilla chips and salsa are decent but even if you try and order something simple such as a cheese quesadilla with rice and salsa separate (something they can't mess up), they will try and charge you 6.50 if it is for an adult, but 'kids portion' is only 3.50 - so I thought ordering a couple of those would solve the issue but they MADE me order an adult (full 6.50) meal in order to order the kids meals. Furthermore they then haggled with me about exchanging a tin of rice with salsa telling me it was going to be even more - they finally said they would make the exchange like it was going to cost them an arm and a leg. I ended up spending 20 odd pounds for myself and a friend just to try and get some decent mexican food because I'm from california and I crave it often and I've been here for 9 months - unfortunately Dundee does not seem to have any decent food that can pass for real mexican food - furthermore they charge like its gourmet instead of the actual costs associated with mexican food (cheese, tortilla, rice and salsa are all cheap) - its my last time being lazy, I'll make it myself from now...
