Jaffy's Fish & Chips Takeaway and Deli Shop — Restaurant in Scotland

I went in to order 3x fish suppers earlier tonight and my daughter also wanted an ice cream. We were waiting to be served while the female worker finished off serving another customer buying ice cream. She then gave someone their fish and chip who had already ordered, then proceeded to serve 2 guys that came in after us their coffees. Were me and my daughter invisible. She wasn't busy, so no excuses. Just very poor service and attitude and not a place I would want to spend my money. We went around the corner to The Cabin and bought our fish and chips there which were lovely. Can't comment on Jaffy's food, but mature woman serving was either having an off day or just has no customer service...

Worst fish & chips ever! After queuing and waiting 20 minutes, (there was nothing ready although two locals were served quicker in between queuers), we paid £19.60 for 2 cod suppers and a haddock, which is way more than we pay at home, and gave the expectation of a superb meal. How wrong we were! The ‘fish’ was mostly batter, very pale, greasy and odd tasting, (that might have been the oil they used), and the chips had only been shown the fryer they were that anaemic! Unfortunately we had driven away before we opened the boxes and it wasn’t worth our while to drive back to pass on our feedback. Not a good advert for a coastal town and not somewhere...

£5.40 for a ‘large chips’ (was very small!), two ketchups and curry sauce!

Avoid at all costs - no welcome when you walk in (we waited around 5mins without no service) and served us old chips that has been left for a while.

Rude service and left us with a bitter taste in our mouths of the lovely Mallaig!

Also charged us for a bag (20p) when other customers were not - maybe this was because we didn’t look like white folks of Mallaig!

In summary, rude service, overpriced and total lack of any welcome - save your money!

Walk down to more chip shops - avoid, avoid, avoid!

Definitely not ‘Fast,...
