Loch Fyne Shellfish Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

Great wee place, Whelks, Dulce, Mussels in their own Cream and Garlic Sauce are sensational. They also do Prawns, Crab Sticks, Cockles and so on.. If you haven't eaten in here and you like shellfish then your missing out. Prices are completely reasonable. There's plenty seats inside too, nane of this slumming it outside.

A wee order of Mussels and Whelks, a seat inside and you'll feel like a King !

Today: 25-5-25:... Bag of Dulce, 1 Large Bag of Whelks, 2 tubs hot Mussels and 1 Tub of that amazing Sauce circa 14 bangers..excellent VFM..Lassies that work in there have a bit of chat too.. everything fresh as.. I eat in the Green Shack in Oban a lot, this is a great option in the heart...

First time I had been in on Sunday at 2.30pm, they weren’t doing sit ins which is fair enough. I was disappointed in the mussels although they where tasty, I had 12 empty shells in the bag and I understand your going to get empty ones but 12 in a large bag which isn’t very big anyway is disappointing. The lady was very nice but I think you should be checking what you’re putting into the bags to prevent this. I would like to try to sit in so hasn’t put me off but I wouldn’t buy a takeaway bag again because of these reasons. I would like to think if your sitting in them more attention to detail...

Dropped bye at loch fyne as usual on a Thursday after 3pm .ordered my usual tub off plain mussels and tub of garlic mussels and large bag of skye whelks. Was surprised to be told no plain mussels .so bought two tub of garlic and large skye whelks. On eating my first tub of mussels tonight I must say the difference in thr sauce was dramatically different to what I have been getting over the last year .it was so watery no consistency. All I could taste was the mussels .if this is the way the shop is going I'm sorry but I won't be back .ive been a customer for...
