McDonald's — Restaurant in Scotland

Worst mcdonalds in Dundee, which is extremely disappointing as they are all relatively awful but this one takes the cake! Majority of the time the restaurant is cut off with only a few seats left, and theres no sense to it as the place gets blocked off on busy weekend nights?

The service is awful and slow no matter where you go - sitting in, drive thru or taking away - all services are extremely slow.

The drive thru is constantly backed up and majority of the time needs staff out to try and make the traffic of cars less chaotic. When you get to the screen your waiting ages to be served then once thats done you've got to try and find a parking space and wait for you food and there very rarely is a parking space to wait in!

Sitting in is almost worse, no matter how you order your find I guarantee you that you'll be waiting at least half an hour even for the most simple meals, and I'm not even sure how they are so slow because they aren't prioritising anything else? I thought it was called fast food.

If you order from here with justeat or ubereats, you probably won't get everything you asked for and you're unlikely to even get a refund too. I've missed out on mcflurries, chips and burgers using ubereats and each time I've never got a warning or a refund for it.

I understand that most of the staff are high schoolers and probably experiencing their first job but the restaurant is always a tip, you'll never get a clean table and I find myself having to do the cleaning for them! The bins are always full and you can see the staff yapping with one another behind the desk and not serving/making food.

They don't listen to any changes of your meal either, luckily for me it's been purely down to preference but god forbid someone with an allergy comes in and they don't...

All we wanted on a hot day was a McFlurry - simple? No! Admittedly, it was busy and we were told it would be a bit of a wait. No problem. There was one person, only doing McFlurrys - as I said, it was busy. My number was on the being prepared side for ages but I began to notice that people with higher numbers than me, were getting their orders (virtually the same as mine) before me! This happened on 4 or 5 occasions. Then, my number vanished from the being prepared sign but didn't appear on the ready to collect one. I waited another few minutes (I'd already been waiting 15 by then) sure that it was just about to appear - nope. I had to grab someone who appeared to be the manager and tell him. He went to speak the people who were dealing with the McFlurrys and find out what was going on. I had no explanation either. Had to wait another few minutes before I FINALLY got my order with a hurried apology. Got back to my car and went to hand out my "goodies" - only to find that two of them were wrong. I dint want caramel on them and told them so. Not only that, they had dribbled caramel outside of the carton and it ended up all over my clean tshirt and my daughter's clean jeans. I was watching whilst the girl was preparing them and she was over filling and allowing ice cream etc to go everywhere.

This used to be a great branch but I certainly won't be back...

For convenience we ordered meals from McDonalds Camperdown, Dundee through Justeat. Stupidly probably as the last time we did this the delivery arrived missing items. Giving the benefit of the doubt we thought will be ok this time. How wrong we were. The order arrives quickly and everything is listed correctly on order attached to the bag. And that was the only thing that was correct. Missing a Big Mac, a Double Bacon Cheeseburger, a medium fries and the Chilli Cheeseburger was a plain Cheeseburger. We did granted get chicken strips not ordered. We contact Justeat with the expected reply of you will be refunded in a few days. While I realise that we will be told Justeat are ultimately responsible I gave.McDonalds a call. Explain I understand they will say nothing they can do I asked could they help as Justeat didn't pack the bags that is their staff not doing their job properly. The standard response of no we can't do anything phone Justeat. When I ask how we can get the wrong order put in the bag and what checks were made they could not answer and just hung up. I accept mistakes happen but surely there should be a system in place to check the orders are correct. To put it all back to Justeat is poor when it is McDonalds staff making and packing the order. Lesson learned never order from McDonalds...
