It’s been a long long time since I’ve tried Nando’s. It now has a fair bit of competition so I was curious as to how it fared in 2023. The branch itself was really nicely put together. Warm, wood and leather with wall art and filament bulbs give a chic feel. The menu really hasn’t changed in almost a decade. Prices now are getting into mainstream restaurant territory rather than upmarket fast food tho. Chicken thighs were succulent and perfectly cooked, piri fries were hot and flavourful. Read moreThis was our first time at a Nando's. The older gentleman at the counter had very little patience explaining their chicken dishes to a newcomer. I'd give him a D- at customer service. He certainly did not inspire me to come back. Chicken was dry, having been pulled from a drawer full of precooked chicken breasts. Read moreGreat price for what you get and the taste is great. The price is reasonable when you consider what you pay elsewhere around the world for a decent meal with a drink. Other places in the UK are just so expensive if you don't go during their special hours which is not accommodating for the customer and leaves the customer's pocket empty in a sense.
