We had a very disappointing experience at this Nando's in Xite today.
When we arrived, we were told there would be a 30-minute wait for a table, even though plenty of tables were visibly empty. After waiting the full 30 minutes, we were finally seated and placed our order.
That’s when things went from bad to worse. The food took far too long to arrive, and whenever we asked staff, all we got was “your food is coming” without any real update. Our order was mixed up multiple times – they brought the wrong food to our table twice, and even brought someone else’s order to the table next to us. Staff seemed completely disorganised, with different people checking our receipt again and again, but still no food after 45 minutes.
In the end, I had to cancel the order. What shocked me most was that the lady at the counter didn't seem to care – no explanation, just cancellation as if it didn’t matter. She didn't even try to check how long the food would take.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had at Nando’s. Poor management and no sense of customer service. Definitely not what you expect from a brand...

This time I asked very politely, sorry you have loads of tables available, response was ohh yeah sorry we are short staffed? Don't want to put too much pressure on the kitchen staff, I said kitchen looks fully staffed to me and you don't look busy? She didn't know what to say, obviously this is coming from management? Some people just want it easy eh? Wait till the owner finds out 😏😂 they had about 6 tables free inside and around 7 working in the kitchen

Read moreThis branch has alot to learn from other branch's like Springfield Quay. The staff are not used to dealing with the large amounts of customers that are coming inn while the nandos at the Quay is being refurbished. And sorry, But the management in X-Scape Nandos are not as kind snd flexible as the Quay or others.
The atmosphere is very plain + bland compared to Nandos at the Quay. Can't wait until my local Nandos in the Springfield Quay is opened back up again. The reason I spend so much time + money in there is because the staff + management in the Quay show me alot of respect,give me regular discounts because they know that i am a regular loyal customer,plus, they ALWAYS find me a table,no matter how busy it is. I feel at home and comfortable in Nandos in the Springfield Quay..........
