I booked a table for 8 on the 18th February to celebrate my partners birthday we arrived at 430 and waited while they got our table ready, when we were seated we had to wait about 15mins for drinks order to be taken then another 10 mins for food order, we waited over an hour for our food which with 3 hungry children is not ideal, we ordered a share portion of nachos to come with our mains but with sauces on the side, our food eventually came and it was cold wouldn't even say luke warm but after waiting over an hour we didn't want to wait any longer when the nachos came I questioned if they were the sharing portion I was told yes I questioned the lack of cheese etc on them and got a annoyed face and then he came back with a thing of grated cheese and cheese sauce. For 13.50 not really what I would expect. We ordered another drink for one of the kids but it never turned up but we were charged for it, the whole thing was just a nightmare. It was that awful I choose nit to have dessert which is always my favourite part. I asked for the bill. Had to wait another 20 mins for this. If I had not booked online and already put my card details in I seriously would of considered refusing it. I have had better food and service in weathersppoons for a fraction of the price I thought I would book tgifs as a special treat for partner and family but I would say its definitely over priced and hype over nothing. Birthday meal ruined

With the new menu valve for money is not something that's available here. Waited over an hour for the main course which was warm at best when it finally appeared. No salad with the starters and a cheaper looking "salad" with the main course not sure what it was exactly. The floor wasn't particularly clean which was the first thing that I noticed when I walked in (should have walked back out) Ordered the cajun chicken pasta not sure if it was cooked by a chicken or it was supposed to have chicken it in definitely disappointing portion size for a dish they charge £19.45. Was served by Ross who was friendly helpful and polite. That will be my last visit to TGI Fridays so enjoy the £77 I was charged thats the last. Nandos is right across from this particular TGI's so I suppose its not all bad

Would love to give 0 stars but no option Went here last night before a show at the hydro. Took over and hour for 2 starters and 2 mains to come. When they did arrive the food was terrible and it looked like the stuff someone else hadn’t finished on another meal. Do yourself a favour go to Monterey jacks across from here. Manager was supposed to come and see us due to complaint about the food and eventually we got a discount on a juice order. Never again We had been here last year and much the same service but decided to give it another chance. If the manager doesn’t care about the food they are sending then what chance do the customers have. Can only be a matter of time that this once great place will close

Went today and to be honest totally disappointed, we have been before and it was good but today it was just a disaster! greeted and taken to our table and after about 20-25 minutes another server had noticed we hadn't been asked for our drinks so came over and took our drinks and food order, after about 40mins we had to flag a server down to get some more drinks and after 45-50mins my wife went to the pay station to ask how long our food would be as the two kids were getting restless and the server said she would chase it up,5 mins later wohoo! our food came but after taking a bite of the £18 burger it was cold not warm but cold ! chips were hot but cmon tgi fridays serve a hot burger McDonald's,five guys and most greasy spoons can do this at a fraction of the £18 price! So i sent it back they did offer to cook a new one but to be honest I really didn't want to wait 😕 ,the manager did not charge for it and did discount the bill ,but cmon it wasn't that busy and shouldn't have happened in the first place and if it was hot and/or we had been served in a decent time I really wouldn't have felt the need to write a bad review, as we may have been the ones slipping through the net as every other table that had been served piping hot food and had came in after us seemed happy.i have been to quite a few tgis and really enjoyed the attentive service and hot food. Very...

Just back from TGIs for it being a Friday night I found it to be really quiet, we were taken quickly and given menus, the service was good and prompt, we decided to go for the Texan BBQ grill platter which was advertised on the menu 'great for sharing'. After sharing a starter because of what the menu stated I can only say disappointed was the theme from then on. The rump steak was cooked to medium but was quite tough at the fatty bits, the half chicken hadn't reached maturity yet as it was one of the smallest chickens I have ever seen, the ribs were bland, however they are meant to be Cajun spiced, the thing wrapped in a baby lettuce leaf I didn't know what that was but my partner said that it was like salty cabbage, a sauce pot of Mac n cheese, a sauce pot of beans, half a corn on the cob and it was diced into 4 parts. This was highly disappointing and when you come away hungry after what you've paid, it leaves a sour taste in the mouth, £40 for that mixed grill it was definitely not worth it. I have been to this TGIs before and always came away full, this is a first and I am strongly considering not coming back, the service was good and I'm not going to say it's not or anything bad about the service because I cannot fault that. I didn't say anything about it at the time because it was edible and I was hungry, however for a sharing meal it just...
