Rawlings - Love to Eat — Restaurant in Scotland

Have always drove by this restaurant and today we decided to try it for a family breakfast/brunch. Immediately a very warm welcome to our group with kids. Our group was accommodated, we were able to move tables together so our large group were able to sit together with our baby in the pram. Waitress was friendly and attentive, catering to the kids and chatting away to them. Food - excellent portions sizes, and every one of our group were extremely happy with with the quality and taste of the food. Try the spicy beans and poached egg! There is a takeaway option if you dont ha e time to stay, we also sampled some of the delicious homemade cakes/pancakes. Again delicious! Try the tablet cheesecake 😊 Service- excellent service and all members of staff seemed happy and relaxed to work there. Overall- Reasonably priced and very clean and modern restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, we will definitely be back...

Went for a lovely lunch here yesterday. Have been previously, but not for some time. As usual, the staff were welcoming and friendly. I had a decaf latte to heat me up, and it was fantastic. My friend and I had the soup and toastie combo from the menu. The soup was Thai chicken, and I asked if it had lemongrass in it before I ordered, and I was brought out a little cup of the soup to try. I thought this was a nice touch. I ordered the soup (yummy) and a chicken mayo toastie on brown bread. The toastie came out as 3 bits instead of the normal 2 that you’d get as standard anywhere else. Very filling and good quality. Sadly I had no room left for dessert, but I did buy one of the heart shaped empire biscuits to take home for later. I can confirm that it was absolutely delicious, very light and moreish! Will be bringing my daughters back here in the next few weeks, as we appreciate good quality...

Through the years me and my family are always going to Rawlings for lunch, brunch, breakfast or even just a tea and cake. We honestly can’t fault anything about this restaurant l, from the food to staff and even hygiene. Everything is immaculate… the food is honestly the best home made cooked dishes i have ever tasted in a restaurant. We are always taking family and friends to Rawlings and they love it just as much as our selfs. The staff are so lovely that they make u feel relaxed and welcomed always….
