Super few hours at saint judes, we stopped for a afternoon tea with scones, sandwiches and pastry desserts, the food was absolutely amazing there. We also had a teapot full of cocktail which again was superb. Afterwards we bought another cocktail each to try, I had a haribo strawb cocktail and the other half she had a haribo tangfastics cocktail. All was great! The staff were lovely and was asking how everything was. The only bad thing I would say is we waited in the lobby as we saw a little table there like what you would see in a restaurant where you would be greeted and told where you need to go - but that didn’t happen even after 10 minutes so we just walked in. The bar itself was a bit dark and quite loud with music, I really didn’t mind that as their taste in music was exceptional but I couldn’t really hear what my girlfriend was saying a lot of the time. Also their was no food menus nearby so I couldn’t tell what the food prices were! The food that was being brought out looked absolutely banging, guess I’ll have to look online. Anyway I’d definetly come back but only if I was in the area. Thankyou for a lovely day saint judes!

Greeted only with "do you have a booking" twice; not exactly a friendly welcome. It was quiet, with about 8 tables and 5 working there floating about & not really doing anything. After waiting and not being served, and prying open the sticky menu-gross! clean your menus?- decided to leave. Unfortunately the team on lacked any leadership, direction in a dirty charisma vacuum of a bar that has sadly lowered it's standards severely. The patrons had that expression you see on people that regret coming in. Went to your competitors next door- recommend Slouch and Bunker for efficient service! :)

Best to pre-book a table but definitely worth it. The food was great. We decided to order a bunch of "bites". The nacho tattie scones were amazing. I'm glad we listened to the waiters recommendation. We had to wait a while for food due to a large party putting an order in but staff kept us updated and checked on us regularly for freshing up our drinks. Startws to get a bit busy after 9 with people out for the night. I would definitely come back in the afternoon for food and drinks.

I had booked my 21st at St.Jude’s courtyard venue for July. Before my party I had been emailing back and forth to finalise Drinks packages, Dj hire, times and so forth. When we arrived at the courtyard the gate was locked. We were taken down the back way passed the kitchen to my hall which hadn’t even been set up. The staff didn’t greet us nor did they really help when I asked why the party wasn’t set up. My DJ wasn’t set up for the time we had arranged and had actually turned up 40 minutes late, the lights weren’t on, the slush machine which they offered was not on and I was told on the day that their was no one their to work it after I had emailed 3 days before to check it was still okay to be set up. One member of staff in particular was so rude leaving me and my friends feeling very uncomfortable. I had also booked a drinks package which I had to explain to the staff what was included and we ended up only getting a bottle of vodka for £200! I had to ask on 2 separate occasions for the staff to open the gate to let my guest come in. The bar was also not set up. We had asked for straw and we were told their when none available. We then went up stairs into the other bar and had to bring down our own straws. It’s just shows the sheer lack of effort the staff had for setting up the venue and bar. I had emailed the venue after the party to explain how deeply disappointed I was and how it really put a damper on my party. I also explained I wasn’t happy that I had been left out of pocket for my drinks package. I received an email saying I would get an email from the general manager and that they would take my issue “further”. I hadn’t heard anything since and tried to chase up the email but unfortunately have still had no response. Overall I would not recommend St Jude’s for hosting any sort of celebration as the experience I received for the money I spent was absolutely shocking. The customer service is also...

I don’t recommend this place. I’ve been twice, I understand it their policy but last year (2023) my work had their night out there and I had to leave at 10 but now as I’m turning 18 the next day (2024) (24 hours next day Wilmer the clock hit 12, I’m 18), they made me leave at 9:30, only gave me two options I could stay for other 30 minutes till 10 cause I told them about least year or get someone to come with me to go to McDonald’s for next 2 or 3 hours by ourselves walking the streets, young girls left by ourselves with a world that’s not safe anymore to walk the streets . My dad who happily got back in the house after dropping me off, had to come back and get me, it took him over nearly an hour to come back as the M8 was closed (for some reason). Saint Jude’s have not just ruined my work night out but also my big 18th as I wanted to have a good time with work mates. So anyone planing on having anything here do not bother as half of your pals might need to leave or been told differently things for different reasons like I was. Security : birthday not till midnight, okay you’re allowed to stay but not allowed to drink till midnight night. Two minutes later Security: just spoke to my manager, you’ll need to leave at 9:30 and come back at 12. (Even though the place doesn’t...

Booked a table for 5pm on Saturday 20th September. Seated, ordered a drink and our food. 5.45pm still waiting on the drink to arrive. Explained to the server we were still waiting on our drink, told our drink would be a few minutes. Went up to the bar spoke to a man im presuming was either the manager or charge hand and explained we had to leave by 6.30pm we had a show booked, his response was would you like to take the food away, away where? To walk in the street eating our evening meal. I was told at this point food and drink was on the house, it was already prepaid. Got our drink and 2 females were sitting beside us who arrived at least 25 minutes after we did, there food was delivered. I asked the waiting staff were my food was told your order will be next?? Food arrived after 6pm tasted ok but would have enjoyed better if we had enough time to relax and eat it properly. St Judes was very busy staff didnt seem to know what they were doing, if so busy customers should be told they have a long wait for food and alcohol. What was supposed to be a pleasant evening having our dinner before the show turned out to be not a great experience and given how long we waited i would not...
