Bunker Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

If you're looking for rude and miserbale service, you've come to the right place! Our arrival was met with a waiter who looked like he'd just been told he'd been measuring in centimetres, not inches all his life and a cheeky "You eating or what?". After that warm welcome, a waitress who seemed to think she was doing us a favour by taking our order, schlepped our drinks to us. My friend ordered a Panini and asked for Guac to be added. She was told that would be extra and that was fine. However when I said I wanted a burger with extra toppings, I was rudely stopped mid sentence to be told "You can't do that. We don't have a button on the till for it. Order a burger straight from the menu."

The irony seemed lost on her. So neither of us ordered food since we'd had enough salty from the staff. We asked to speak to the manager who agreed the service was bad (while the 2 miserable servers bitched and stared at us over his shoulder) but I doubt their attitude will change.

For future reference, all customers should be met with A SMILE and a WELCOME GREETING. As a floor manager myself, feel free to get in touch because it's clear your staff either need re-trained or just straight out fired. Great job on making 2 first time customers into never...

If it wasn't for the food, they wouldn't deserve one star! The service was terrible. We had booked a table for 5pm, arrived on time and went to the bar. We were told we couldn't order food at the bar and someone would come to the table. We waited 45 minutes, and had to to back to the bar to find out what was going on. When we went to pay for the bill, it came to more than the deal we had booked. When I questioned this, I can only assume the girl got the "manager" who had a total attitude problem and asked what I wanted. When I explained to her, she said we'll thats what happens when you order drinks. Considering we were paying for our drinks as we went as we waited 45mins for someone to take our order. It turns out someone had put drinks on our table, so she took some of them off. Only one member of staff seemed interested in providing a good service, the rest were terrible. Definitely won't be back, and ill be telling everyone to avoid....

I don’t usually write reviews but as a manager myself i just felt the need to as i was absolutely disgusted by the service in there. I’ve given staff in trouble for many things but never for talking to customers which is exactly what happened. I would understand if that was to be the case if they were very however majority of them were standing around. I would talk to different staff and this manager (i assume she is because she was doing work on her laptop near the bar - also very unprofessional in my opinion) she would come over and whisper to them to go and do something else instead of talking to me which was such a shame because all bar staff were brilliant. Anyway unsure if i would be back as i don’t feel its fair for staff to be treated badly for doing their job. Hope they...
