You can easily see how many other people have given this restaurant wonderful reviews, so it is hardly necessary for me to add more. However, we were so delighted by the food and service that I feel it is my obligation to say so publicly (plus, I promised our awesome waiter that I would). First, I need to acknowledge how wonderful and helpful the staff was. The place was PACKED and we didnāt have reservations (a word to the wise!). Nevertheless, they found a way to get us a table and made sure we were taken care of all the same. Thank you! Next, the food was AMAZING! I strongly recommend the mussels in the chili and garlic. Better yet was the curry sauce that we ordered for our fish and chips. I love curry sauce and this was literally the best I have ever had! I canāt really explain why, but I recommend you give it a go! Finally, the monkfish was superb! If it is available, order it! Because monkfish is still sometimes regarded as an āugly fishā, Iām a big advocate of getting folks to eat more of itāplus, it tastes great!

Fish & Chips. That's all you need to know. š But, seriously, it was cooked perfectly and so yummy! The salmon was not my favorite, though. First, I ordered it with the homemade pesto sauce. It tasted off. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just wasn't jiving for me. Plus, they serve it with a salad(I was not made aware of this when ordering) that is covered in raw shaved fennel. I despise fennel with every taste bud I have. It is one of the worst flavors I can think of. So, they took it all away and made me a new grilled salmon plain, which I ordered medium. When it finally came back out, it was still rare in the middle. I didn't dare say anything again, so I just ate the edges. I will say that my spritz was delicious, and that helped the wait be more bearable. I got the elderflower base for the build your own option. All around, it wasn't the best experience for me, but my husband loved every bite of the fish and chips. I would only go back to order that.

WOW! The BEST Fish and Chips I've had in Fife - who woulda known. From the street this hidden gem is a host that packs a punch of goodness. *Make reservations or you'll miss out, we were there midweek at 1930 and had a party of 7 but I think you would be LUCKY any day of the week to just walk in and get a table *Don't FRET if you missed it, they have a takeaway counter and fishmonger as well *Order the Prawns appetizer for deliciousness that has my mouth watering even as I write this - flavors of spice, fresh herbs but not too overpowering that you taste the shrimp...everyone at my table said it was FANTASTIC *Awesome drinks G&Ts with light tonic too Amber our waitress was phenom!

Clean, modern, and effortlessly elegant. If you want satisfying and sumptuous seafood here in St Andrews, there are few better locales than this one. Though I am not personally the most ardent fan of fish and chips, this restaurant is particularly known for delivering some of the best fish and chips in Fife. If you want a meal like that, come here. The seating is quite spacious, and the prices are relatively reasonable considering the quality of the food and the sophisticated atmosphere. Their seafood soups, of which I am quite a fan, are also popular and thoroughly creamy. If you want an elegant meal at a fine restaurant in St Andrews, this is one of your best options.

Lucky to have found this restaurant with lovely fresh and tasty seafood :> Grilled halibut is tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned. The grilled prawns are also full of flavors. And how awesome is it that mains all come with large portions of salad! The grain salad is light and tastes great with pesto. Butternut squash is nicely roasted. The sauce is delightful like sunshineā eggy but not as heavy as the common hollandise. The mussels are fresh, plump, and flavorful. (No pic because we dogged in right away XD) One of the best Iāve seen in a restaurant Food came fast and service was prompt.

Best Fish & Chips, I ever had. I ordered a half fillet in breadcrumbs with garden peas and garlic-chilli sauce. The dish was accompanied by a small slice of lemon. The fish was fresh, not overpowered by the batter, and tasted amazing just with a squeeze of the lemon. The garden peas tasted good, and enhanced the flavours well. The chips were good too, crispy on the outside and soft from the inside. The garlic-chilli sauce went really well with it. The staff is friendly and caters well. The restaurant has a warm vibe to it. Overall, a great experience!
