One of the first places we visited on our trip to Scotland, for a little breakfast, after my Grandma telling me we must go. The two ladies who were working that day were amazing, super thoughtful and looked after us. They chatted and gave us great recommendations for our onwards journey. Sausage, bacon & egg barm was one of the best I’ve ever had, too!! 🙏

Brilliant wee cafe, adorable interior, very friendly staff! Went for lunch with my boyfriend and we had a wonderful and affordable meal and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Clearly Covid regulations are being taken seriously as well! Definitely want to try some more of their cakes and menu items.

This is one of the amazing places to have breakfast in terms of taste, variety, ambience and service. The quantity was good enough and the service was quick. If I ever go to Glasgow again, will definitely visit this place for breakfast. The place was well maintained with clean toilets.

So I booked in for afternoon tea for myself, friend and our two girls. On the phone I was asked what sandwich fillings I would like. Initially cheese and ham for the girls was put down then I said actually I'm not sure as didnt know was my friends daughter like and the girl in phone said it's ok you can choose when you come down. Brill stuff! So we got there yesterday, all very welcoming. Waitress came out with our afternoon tea and drinks. Friends daughter didnt like cheese so we asked if she could swap for ham. That wasnt a problem and friend added the cheese sandwich to hers. Lovely selection of cakes and scones and two excited wee girls. However, what ruined our experience and why we will not be back is that we were charged £2.15 extra on top of our already £35 bill for two tiny quarter sized sandwiches FOR A KID. I thought hold on a minute. Now I'm no miser and I tip very well generally but I went over to ask about why we were charged extra for a tiny sandwich and explained it all to the owner and she proceeded to try and convince me that she did the right thing and I should have came up and said earlier. Now for someone who hasnt been before and does not know the workings of it all and also the waitress had already came out with our afternoon tea, to charge you extra after the amount we had already spent for a measly little kids sandwich was dreadful. Apparently a full sandwich is £4.30 and she halved the amount hense the £2.15. I'm pretty sure you are not charging £4.30 for a white bread ham sandwich unless it has salad, crisps, coleslaw or whatever on the side as I work in a cafe and we sell BLOOMER bread sandwiches for £2.50 with salad. Will not be back. Attitude was disgusting. Will be telling our friends and...

Not only was this awesome wee place recommended to us, I also received text messages while I was sat at the table recommending what to order - The Buddy Burger !! As I said after I finished, if my son hadn’t been sat with us I’d have used very descriptive language to explain how good it was - not a burger bun but a roll….a proper roll - beautiful homemade burger with crispy bacon, onion ring, cheese and an amazing runny cheese too - not messing about here - this burger was next level good 👌🏻. Apparently my wife had something that she said was good too but I was too busy making sure she didn’t steal any of my burger to ask her what she had 😂. All joking aside, my burger, my wife’s chilli & the wee mans fish finger sandwich were all polished off, coffees and cakes to follow were also demolished and a very reasonable bill at the end has guaranteed a...

I struggle really bad with anxiety, today I was having a somewhat good day and decided to try this hidden gem out, I could smell the homemade soup half way up the street and it smelled like my nans home cooked soup, so that was a big bonus, went in to get a wee morning roll and the two woman behind the counter were just, how to put it, absolutely lovely. As soon as I walked through the door, big smiles and hellos, I enjoyed this as I don't normally have the courage to speak to people.

I will be back every few days to pickup and try something new, I highly,...
