I don't usually leave negative feedbacks on places i actually go regular or know but this has to be done. Ordered food mix cold meze ( variety of cold dips ) it was ok but stuffed vine leaves looked as they were just scoped out of its thin as it was cold which you supposed to eat it cold but this was little over. Oil around vine leaves were frozen all hard and it was absolutely hard and rice weren't cooked which I wouldn't blame the restaurant as its already made thin of supermarket stuffed vine leaves but I just couldn't eat it. I called the manager and explain he thought it was normal. Anyway never thought anything of it as I knew the place and manager which I have nothing against him or the place. Actually place its self is amazingly decorated and ambiance is great. I also ordered main course broougted by this young girl and tye conversation between me and her. Her " there you go ". ." Urrm do you want salad or anything with this? " Me " Does this usually served with any salad ?" Her "Yes it does and I will bring now " What I meant by this is cos I dine alone and happened to be a Turkish doesn't mean we should get treated different as end of the day we are all potentially paying customers. I was really disappointed by this and I usually leave good tips and on purposely didn't and didn't think service was great overall. I asked Bill and went up to till and pay my full bill which I think it wasn't worth this much cos lack of quality. After this I probably won't be in a rash go there again and probably manager I used know he won't speak to me cos of this feedback but this had to be heard so these sort of things shouldn't happen. We all pay the same amount so we all should get same professional treatment. You shouldn't get penalised cos you dine alone or any other race. Hope this doesn't offence to place or staff or...
Read moreMy sil is Turkish and she raved about this restaurant so I was really looking forward to our family meal. Unfortunately, it had recently changed hands and turned out to be the worst restaurant we'd all ever had the misfortune to visit. I wish I could give a negative number of stars.
First, the parking. There wass no disabled parking. See further info in the parking and wheelchair accessibility sections below.
The waitress was friendly but didn't know most of the things I asked her about the food and didn't offer to go and find out.
There is a notice on the menu to let your server know if any allergies you have. My boyfriend and I wanted to share the hot meze platter but it came with Turkish sausage which is usually spicy. My bf doesn't eat meat and spicy food causes me to come out in hives. I asked if we could swap it for another item but was told that they don't allow swaps. However, we were told that they could leave it off and could order something else instead but we'd have to pay! I've never heard of a restaurant refusing substitutions, especially given the reasons for needing to swap. I asked to speak to the manager. He confirmed that substitutions aren't allowed. I explained our reason for the request but he still wouldn't budge. He told me that the sausage wasn't spicy at all and that everything else on the platter has Turkish spice in it, even the bread, but it wasn't spicy. He said that everything is cooked in the same pot/grill so he was effectively telling me that there was nothing in the menu that I could eat!As I've visited a lot of Turkish restaurants I knew of foods which I could eat, so I...
Read morePARKING FINE FOR ENTIRE FAMILY!!!
My girlfriend, my family, and I visited your restaurant in early August. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The food itself was underwhelming—my brother even suffered mild food poisoning afterward. My halloumi burger consisted of nothing more than three sticks of halloumi thrown into a bun, which felt lazy and poorly thought out.
However, the most frustrating part of our visit was the parking situation. Every single member of our group of eight received a fine for supposedly exceeding a two-hour limit—simply for dining at your restaurant. After checking reviews online, it’s clear that we are far from the only ones affected by this issue, which makes it even more concerning. None of us noticed any warning signs about the car park being "private," and it seems unreasonable that customers are being penalized like this, especially when signage is unclear or inadequate.
We are now receiving threats from debt collectors because of this situation, which feels extremely unfair. If there are indeed signs in place, I strongly urge you to make them clearer for future customers. As it stands, the parking arrangements are not transparent at all, and I imagine you are losing business because of it.
Between the substandard food and leaving with £100 fines each due to unclear parking rules, the experience was extremely disappointing. I hope you take this feedback seriously and review your situation Sports Directs parking...
